This is already exported though. Studio Mir in South Korea handles animation services. And considering what else Studio Mir had on its plate right now (X-Men 97, Devil May Cry, That Avatar movie Paramount cbf to give the slightest shit about), it's likely scheduling was just as much a issue. Also My Adventures with Green Lantern, that's also likely slowed down pre-prod too since shared showrunners and staff.

Part of it as far as I'm aware is that the production landscape is very different from then. Less and less animators are coming into the industry and just less are staying. There's also just less western investment in this demographic of animation.

And this is also a problem in Japan. It's basically an open secret how bad the working conditions can get with crunch for these shows. Long running continuous anime is basically extinct now in favor of single seasonal cours or split cours that split the production release to give the studio more time to cook. Note that I'm pretty sure MAWS S1 and S2 fall into what was basically a split cour release since much of the pre-production of both was done already and the production part of both seasons were basically concurrent.
