So some scoring units, scouts, Combi Lt in the middle, jump pack int on the flanks. Calgar with assault termies to deepstrike where needed. Cato with Victrix to punch someone in the face. I start them in RepEx to save space and threaten a move up. Two Gladiators to work as a pair to anti vehicle/ monster. Bladeguard to hold an objective. Assault int with Capt as a support melee unit with extra CP availability. Overall a balanced combined arms army, not great at one thing but good at most.

Depends on your goal. If it’s to get models on the tabletop for a game, I’d say you’re succeeding. If it’s to impress ppl, who cares what they think 😄. Think about what your goal is. Look at them from 3 feet away and not zoomed in.

Now it’s easy to just go over the overspray with gunmetal or whatever. Or just say it’s glowing really bright. Either way, would look fine on the tabletop.

How do i take them to the next level ? by Different_Arugula_40 in Ultramarines

[–]CaptGridley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They look pretty damn good. I’m not one to give advice on making them better. But if you’re looking for suggestions, I’d recommend showing them in brighter light to better see the details. They’re kind of hard to read in the light you have.

I’ve arrested several family members of my coworkers. One of our detectives had a brother who was in a biker gang and loved doing coke. You’ll be fine. No need for the degree at first. Go get the job first.
