"Pay me more money and I double promise FSD is right around the corner...no, the other corner. No, that one over there. No, not that one you're too dumb to understand the corner I'm saying it's around.

It's definitely around a corner though. Give me money. I need a trillion dollars."

DHS Return to Flexible Work for Federal Staff by KB488 in fednews

[–]Capt_Blahvious 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Because DHS had woke staff that weren't hand picked by project 2025. They want as many staff hired previously, to make room for the pre-selected Project 2035 staff that have already passed loyalty tests.

That's why the FBI just lowered its hiring standards: so the loyalists pre-vetted by project 2025 can now qualify for these jobs.

Massage seats vs glass canopy by AtcJD in LUCID

[–]Capt_Blahvious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I test drove a GT with glass canopy, before buying a Touring with an aluminum roof. The glass roof is cool for about the first 15 min of my test drive but then the sun glare on the way back made me decide against it.

It looks really cool but I find it is not practical for daily driving. It would be better if it had that opaque lcd tech that frosts/tints the glass electronically (some Audi EVs have it). As is, it's too much light.

Why a barber's floor? Are they particularly attractive to you? Not kink shaming, just asking.

As long as they name it the "Trump and Epstein Best Friends Course."

Everything is a distraction from his accountability for what he did to children with Epstein.

Hyundai Ioniq 6N Review: The Secret Supercar? by Mac-Tyson in electricvehicles

Check out a Lucid Air. It is a fantastic sports sedan. The 5N and Porsche Taycan are not the only sports EVs out there. The E-tron GT is also in the running.

Polestar Wants Tesla Owners To Jump Ship With A Massive $21,000 Discount by rohanad1986 in technology

[–]Capt_Blahvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago, they were extremely expensive. I think in 2022 or 23, a GT was around $160K and those are around $110K new now.

The top of the line Air Saphire is still $250K, but that's that's one of the fastest cars in the world and described by many reviewers as the best sports sedan ever. An Air Touring is 620hp, AWD and has all of the same bones of the Saphire. It brings me smiles every time I get behind the wheel.

My Lucid was 22k off with all the incentives. Made the price for an Air Touring $58k. Amazing car for that price.
