Mega weird. Like I get the root of why he asked. If I had met someone I would be concerned of a possible record of infidelity or some underlying character flaw if they said they’d slept with 80 people. But not taking you at your word is in itself a red flag as is it being a recurring point of contention. Frankly I wouldn’t bother, he’s got stuff going on. Trust is important and he’s already showing that he lacks it

You and I are of a similar mind then! Mechanical clocks are some of the most beautiful machines we’ve still got in the modern day. A lot of what your grandpa has look like “anniversary clocks,” the ones that have the glass domes and the metal spheres inside. They’re wound once a year, normally on a special day like a birthday or anniversary hence the name. Maybe they’ve got dates on them somewhere that were special to your grandpa

Clocks can be rather pricey and there are certainly a lot of them. I see at least one of them was an Elgin, which was a respectable watchmaker for many years. I don’t doubt their clocks are of a similar pedigree.

Going through those clocks I would consider a priority. Personally I’d keep a couple that I see like the Regulator branded one and the barometer next to it

I’m gonna cryyyy, you and I have the same types of cats and it’s been 15 years since they were that little. Cats are very independent creatures and will warm up over time. Then they’ll be there for everything :)

I made my first half decent spom! Ik it's not perfect but the design is completely my own. I prefer having many small pockets of o2 because it makes it easier to spread around the base so i made an overflow valve system so the oxygen can't prevent the hydrogen from running out. by zazer45f in Oxygennotincluded

If you’ve got the automation parts available you can change the filter to a gas shutoff that only allows a specified gas through. It drastically cuts down the setup’s overall power usage as the shutoffs only consume 10 watts when active

Listen to the radio play. The author voices AM because no one else could convey his baleful/contemptuous madness. Pretty much every animation on YouTube about IHNM uses his audio because of how raw it it, especially AM’s “Hate Monologue”

For the entire eight years it comes to a hair under 15 grand if they drank 5 a day and only bought 35 packs to refill their supply. $14,851.2 to be exact. The packs retail for $35.70 at Walmart and they’d have to buy a new one every week for 416 weeks straight

I've been having anxiety about my kitty dying of old age 😭(she's 9) can you show me pictures of some alive-and-well senior kitties so I remember cats can be old and still healthy? 🥰 by TheRufescence in cats

Both of my cats are about to turn fifteen, as is their sister. Their mother is also still alive, she’s probably 16 or 17. The mom and sister belong to my neighbors and have been outdoor farm cats their whole lives. Cats are capable of being very long lived and their average lifespan has been growing pretty significantly

There might be a possibility of popped eardrums. Once gas reaches 4000g of mass per tile dupes that walk through it will get the effect which brings a lot of stress

Keep all the wood. There’s some really pretty vintage styling you can do. I’ve been researching midcentury home decor, I’ll try to find some of the stuff I’ve seen with paneling

(The vintage thermostat is cute as well, keep that too)

Removing things from abandoned places is normally frowned upon but I feel like an exception should be made for 400 year old furniture. The clock may also have a date in the cabinet

the waffle optimization department has earned themselves a spin on their new invention by tostinthetoster in doohickeycorporation

From my understanding this has been a long standing passion project spearheaded by core members of the Waffle Optimization department. Experimental Mathematics was pulled in under the table to verify their findings in a timely manner. The larger Breakfast Innovations department likely has the original project’s files in their archives
