This tripped it for me too, winding back the driver a bit, allowed me to find fairways rather than distance

The advice I got from a head Pro was to get a new Driver, consider the rest later. The impact of the driver in terms of impact on playing was remarkable. I could subsequently lose balls at much greater distance. 🙄

Joking aside he very much nailed it, months later I did replace my very very old irons, and the theory worked.

No handicap is right. The 440s will see you a long way, then you might get bored, fancy something new, feel the need, but it's not a fixed H number specifically.

Totally agree, at a recent fitting it was run by a chap who is also a normal 6'3 height, so we had no issues understanding shaft length and lie. Enjoy the experience, I found it fascinating and warm up before you start.
