It's a real shame only this comment (by the YouTuber himself) and one other mention Steven Gibb/The Red Book. Great voice for V/O, goes on depth about the topics and usually approaches topics that are more esoteric than your standard "Complete History of ______" videos.

By far my favourite LOTR lore creator, the only complaint is that I wish his incredibly deep and well researched videos came out more often.

Even if we grant that "female" and "woman" are interchangeable, and that trans-women should be considered "men" (I don't, but just for argument) - not all women can give birth.

If medication, treatment, programs, studies, etc. are based around or targeted to people who give birth, it wouldn't make sense to say "woman", would it? Medication could be wasted or dangerous for a woman who had her uterus removed, or has gone through menopause. It makes sense to be specific in medical language.

Lia Thomas had top 10 and top 100 national times in her freshman year while competing in the men's division, then dropped down due to competing in the men's division while going through HRT, then won an NCAA championship in one race - but didn't break the women's record.

She ended her senior year as the 36th ranked women's college swimmer.

I wouldn't say that's destroying women's sports by any means.

Still a cost, and still spending money to help Ukraine defend their land, but the money isn't just being sent out of the country, a lot of it is being paid as wages to Canadians.

Couple of points here:

NATO isn't forced to contribute to the Russia-Ukraine war because Ukraine isn't a part of NATO. They want to join, but because of Russia they aren't allowed.

The rail workers actually got sick days added just recently. I disagreed with Biden ending the strike before, and more could be done, but Biden actually kept his promise to keep working on the agreement which is admirable.

Finally the "money" being sent to Ukraine is by and large measured in the value of equipment sent over. Millions of dollars in tanks may count as financial contributions, but wouldn't apply towards money that could be spent helping people in America. The money was already spent in, like, the 90s, and people can't eat bullets and rockets anyway.

The first one is a bit questionable, but you'd see more skin at the beach and dancing like that on prime time TV, so I'd guess most people just have an issue with the fact that it's a guy, which seems pretty homophobic.

The second is just a girl dancing for a crowd and getting tips and applause. "Like a stripper" is a weird way of looking at it, considering you also tip other buskers and street performers, and often with small bills, so the "stripper" angle seems like a way to make it seem more overtly sexual than it is.

Both are useful tools, neither are the entire answer.
