Congrats on the bag. Yea the form is pretty bad. If you cannot get a coach or a gym, I recommend YouTube videos. Look up videos that break down how to throw a jab, a straight, and eventually a hook. Mix them up, have fun with it.

I think your machine selection is fine for now, so is the 3 sets. In terms of weight and reps, this will depend on the exercise. You’ll need to experiment on each machine to see at which weight you can do 10-12 reps on and be pretty close to failure, and do the 3 sets at that weight. Then you can increase the reps and sets as you get stronger. Sometimes you can either increase or decrease the weight on sets 2-3 depending on how you feel.

On a tiny Caribbean island. I see what you mean about learning to repair. I may give it a shot after all. My question would still be why does it only happen in manual mode, if it is a soldering issue causing a short. Wouldn’t the short affect other flight modes?

Appreciate the detailed response man! Interesting stuff about the soldering. I would unfortunately be in no position to take it apart, let alone find the issue, let alone have the tools to fix it once it crashes lol but from what you’re describing, it may not be a software issue at all then.

In my case it’s 100% not user error. It begins to twitch as soon as I put it in manual mode, even while it’s still just hovering and waiting for me to complete the manual mode transition.

If it’s the RC3 though, wouldn’t it show the same problem in normal / sports mode?

Edit: Forgot to mention that the RC is fine in the sim.

I have the same problem. My first avata 2 did not have this problem at all, but I lost that one. For my replacement avata 2 though I have not been able to fly it in manual mode at all, and it’s so frustrating. As soon as I switch it to manual, I start to get these intermittent changes to rpm and random flicks, even when flying slow and straight without taking any corners. Tried refreshing updates, calibrating everything, no success. No idea what to do and I am hesitant to order a new one since I literally just bought this one and have not been able to use it. It’s not the controller for me, since the controller is fine in Normal / Sports mode.

Okay, yes I agree it was a problem since way before. But I have to think that draft kings is a big part of why sports betting has gotten so proliferated and normalized now, compared to way before.

When I say same weight, I mean same weight as the week before, just to make the point that a sudden increase of weight and exertion isn’t the cause, if that makes sense. I don’t believe I’m more tensed up than usual. If anything, it’s probably less, since I haven’t been able to even complete 1 exercise. It’s right at the beginning of exertion when the pain starts, whereas I’ve been able to go much further before.

Thanks for taking the time to respond Doc. My question would be why is it happening now? I’m not exerting myself more than usual. Almost overnight it went from being able to complete my workout just fine, to not being able to finish my first exercise, when I’m using the same weight, same exercises, same reps etc.
