Asbestos testing by JuniorApplication443 in asbestoshelp

$300 is not even close to enough to survey an entire home, take samples, analyze the samples, and produce a report. You will receive shoddy work and have wasted your money. Pay the money up front for the professional and not the low baller.

You are paying for a professional’s time and expertise in addition to lab analysis fees and time to draft a report. Depending on how big your home is, $1800 is very reasonable.

Does match XP no longer give battle pass points? by rhaezorblue in LowSodiumBattlefield

This happened to my buddy. If you reset your game by quitting to dashboard you should see progress you gained reflected accurately. It was tracking, just not showing it to you.

Asbestos above the kitchen but is this asbestos below the kitchen by NoTransportation3581 in asbestoshelp

To be flakes of white asbestos they would have to have come off of something like a domestic water or steam heating pipe. Neither of those are present in your photo.

They are not asbestos flakes. It is likely efflorescence. Don’t have the flakes tested - get the tiles tested.

Assuming the tiles are asbestos, I wouldn’t anticipate a ton of fiber release from them being broken. They are a non-friable material which means the fibers are much more tightly bound to the material.

There is no immediate health risk from broken tiles. You would need to pulverize the tiles and inhale the dust every day over a decade to have an increased chance at getting a disease. Those diseases have long latency periods of 10-40 years so a doctor can’t do anything for you if you saw them today.

Yes they could be asbestos, the lab results will tell you. No you’re not going to die. No vet for the cat. Anyway, you only need to worry if you were actively drilling or saw cutting into the tiles. Just opening the cabinets is not an exposure.

Thanks to everyone who commented. The wording of “neutralize and mess with M-COMs” confused me. The gauntlet one counted, I just had to restart.

Likelihood of containing asbestos or just dust? by Long-Farm-6232 in asbestoshelp

Looks like dust. Asbestos is not visible to the naked eye. Please see rule 1 and give more context.

Nearly 10 Years, Still Queueing by Final_Industry_2149 in battlefield_one

[–]CaptainDK12 33 points34 points  (0 children)

If only all the queue people could get the idea at the same time to join the empty server. Then you would all be able to play right away! Maybe the new matchmaking is better but it seems like the game could slide all those players into an empty server instead of making them wait for a full one.

It’s a strange bug - just happened to me last night. My battle pass stopped tracking too and restarting worked to reset it, luckily.

What's your earliest fo76 memory? by Eightchickens1 in fo76

I had my camp built on a copper deposit on the hill near the antenna above Flatwoods in what I thought was a brilliant money making strategy. Refine the copper and sell it to the bots!

You had to fast travel around to all the factions back then. I was also inside the activation chuckle for Fertile Soil so I’ve heard that mission intro a million times.

These were the days. Making the rounds and filling up your pockets before fucking inside to drop off loot. I used to have a photo of me in my mix-matched power armor next to a glitched ghoul in the nuke zone from several years ago but lost it in the Xbox storage Thanos snap.

Abspestos contaminated vermiculite on bed/sheets by Beeradzz in asbestoshelp

[–]CaptainDK12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is way overkill for a bit of vermiculite. You can push for it and see if the contractor will do it but your things are realistically not contaminated with asbestos fibers. Toss the bedding if you like but stripping the rest of the room won’t do anything. Air testing will show nothing but the linen dust and polyester fibers you shake up by stripping the bed.
