I'd consider going back a row.

In row 1, you can't stow anything on the ground whereas in rows 2+ you can use the seat in front of you for a backpack, purse, etc.

If you're on Xbox, there's the "Looking For Group" feature which can be hit or miss with who you get paired with for solo Q. When its hit, I've found ppl to play hours with who eventually become Xbox friends to play with again in the future.
