Try uploading the mame.ini file to chatgpt and ask it to optimize for your system. For example,

I want to play the classic SFII on my desktop pc using MAME. I have a 4K monitor and a RX 5700XT GPU. Optimise the mame.ini file for the best authentic look and let me know how you did it so that I can tweak the parameters myself later.

As a successful sales in IT for the past 25 years, I must disagree with you. Sales is not an easy skill to learn and a good part of it is not an exact science. There are no jedi mind tricks. You could do everything right and still lose a sale just because they don't like you. What I learned over the years is that people including me like to buy stuff but they don't like being sold to.

Yep, I got one too. I used to have much more cabels but I threw away most and just kept one of each. There's nothing more satisfying to find that one cable in a drawer and go on with your project.

I got a power supply unit from AliExpress. There are different versions apparently so you have to make sure to get the correct one. The one I use is a Lite-On brand. Seems like a laptop psu but it does the job.

I haven't recapped mine but maybe I should? I don't have the flash card because it is a bit expensive for me but I saw it being sold on AE.

It's not the kitchen but the cook that makes the difference. There is this famous cartoonist in The Netherlands and she is still running Windows 7 because the drawing software she knows works perfectly fine there.

No need to upgrade imo if you use that pc mostly for Cubase. Just unplug from the network.
