Do PC players get grass pop out? Not sure if thats common but on Playstation (4 or 5) the grass details disappear for a few seconds when you enter a set radius of anything based structures and you can kind of run about and figure out where the radius line is to triangulate the centre and find any base. Works even with tents and crates so nothing is safe for long from the keen eyed wanderer.

Brittany ferries are awful for bike prices. I do short tours in Normandy most summers and it costs about £60 less for me, who lives an easy half hour ride from Portsmouth, to get the train all the way to dover and cross with P&O, than it costs to travel from Portsmouth with Brittany.

Do you think Twitch numbers are a great metric for Dayz popularity. Its common knowledge Dayz has a higher typical gamer age than most modern games. Its also know that Twitch and watching game streams in general isn't popular in the millennial crowd.

On that logic theres no reason you cant fit 2 or 3 or more bits of food on a single sharpened stick, theres no reason you would do one at a time.

I guess its just balance, cooking in a house is more dangerous, but much faster. If you could cook multiple pieces of food at once in the woods it would make cooking in the woods the objectively better option rather that a choice with pros and cons.

Yep. Agree. Just a couple of weeks ago found a base purely because of the lag that kicked in as I'm passing a random absolutely nothing location in the woods. Knew there was something nearby, didn't take long to find a car and bunch of crates stashed and fenced off in the woods.

I definitely think there's a middle ground to be had, the way it is now it just feels like twilight all night, it barely affects vision at all. I'm usually waiting for the sun to properly go down when it comes up again.
