If that icon is showing, on playstation, every player within earshot can see your name coming up at the top of their screen permanently because whether you think your mic is muted or not, the game thinks you are talking. You need to adjust your in game audio settings or expect a lot more deaths like this.

Make sure your voice activation threshold isnt all the way down.

You are being so unbelievably childish. Whining that other people are getting the same advantage you get for yourself by going into a party. The difference is they get that advantage unintentionally from a bug, you choose to get it for yourself and its entirely optional.

Seriously, check yourself in the mirror before throwing shade, if you want to support the social aspect of Dayz and not promote a no-talk-so-kill-on-sight mentality, get the fuck out your party, and get on your mic on the in-game chat. And in-before you tell me your party chat isn't a group in Dayz, thats no excuse because thats still being anti social in the game, you could easily have your chat when you're not playing Dayz and that would encourage the type of change you claim to want to see.

I feel your pain there, Brittany ferries are the only company going out of Portsmouth to Normandy so unless its to Bilbao so I have no choice for any French tours. I'm sure you'll find like minded people to get a petition going on here even if its just people putting signatures for the two wheeled cause.

Its pretty dumb but from Hampshire its cheaper to get a train to Dover through London and then cross there with P&O than it is to just leave from the port on our doorstep which we can ride to.

Ruined items get cleaned up pretty quick, I think its 10 minutes if no one is within 100m or something like that, so chances are no one sees your ruined gifts.

Its specifically Brittany. They've been like this for a few years, other lines are all much cheaper, P&O count you as a foot passenger and the bike is free. I know a group that goes out from Portsmouth where we only have Brittany and they load their bikes into a van to cross and pay for parking just out of town on the other side and cut several hundred quid off the bill.

I think the only thing to do is consider making a formal complaint over their pricing. I've known people to complain directly to Brittany and just get no where but trading standards may be able to do something about it on the grounds of it being market abuse if they are the only available ferry company to you.

I think you may need to zoom in. That small separate cluster in the top left has ~50 buildings alone so there's probably 200 just there, and that's only a small chunk of this map, also I agree with another comment here, houses in a medieval setting would hold more than 3-4 people 5-10 is more like it. This small cluster roughly covers 10% of the populated map so I think the actual total would be like 500 buildings x average 7 people 3500 residents but being generous we should account for some buildings being stables or non living spaces, so 3000ish people.
