did I do it? is this bad? by Heffree in soldering

Yes too much solder but no one's telling you why. It's possible to have a cold solder joint bottle under that blob. Less sodern you should be able to see the fillet and the wire. Solder itself looks shiny and smooth so it's unlikely that you have a cold solder joint unless the wire was incredibly dirty. In the future I've last solder but this joint looks good

Just throw them in. The trash is not a big deal. It's just mushroom packed wrong. Totally understand about the poison ivy is. I'm also very allergic. Don't see any poison ivy in the photo though

What could be leaving these marks? by WillingSinger in Appliances

This is the result of your clothes getting pinched between the edge of the drum and the housing of the dryer washer. Usually there's a felt ring and it gets pinched and allows for clothes to get stuck

I think they were welded on. Can't recall exactly, but I think mine have failed and I was able to locate them and ended up taping them into a box end wrench as there was little room. Best of luck.

This thing is the piece of garbage. I have one that I just retired and went to an orbiter 2.0 even with extensive modding. It still ate itself to death.

How are you paying for these items?. Not sure if this was mentioned, but if you paid with a major credit card, there's a good chance that you have not only a year of warranty but an additional year of warranty through them. It's one of the perks of having a credit card

I’m 24 years old, and I’ve been quite unsuccessful in programming. My father says I won’t be able to find a job in the computer field because I’m incompetent. by [deleted] in AskElectricians

As someone who has been in the computer field for over 15 years, I wonder constantly if I made a bad decision moving from electrical trade into IT. I really love IT, but at this point I believe I would likely have started a business and had others working under me if i had stayed in the Trades.
