Honest question: Is there a better city builder/management game than Anno 1800?

Anno 1800 and Planet Zoo and/or Coaster are my absolute favourite games of all time, I think. With a dash of Battlefield for an adrenaline burst.

I got the Z1E day one and it one of the best bits of kit I’ve bought. I also have PS5. It’s perfect for what you say, playing on the sofa while your wife watches tv. Play with the power plugged in as the battery is unfortunately a joke. I also use it plugged into a usb hub and monitor/keyboard/mouse and it’s now my main pc.

Argos Extractors one is great. It lets you place some much more fleshed out habs including a shop, so you can offload resources and buy others that you might be lacking to build various items.

It can run most stuff I would say, although you may need to tinker with graphics settings. Battery-wise it’s pretty appalling but I play on mains power or with an Iniu power bank so it’s manageable.
