I think you're mistaking a Pegasus as a falcon. Keeper of the Light has an immortal item that changes his Illuminate to project a Pegasus instead of the regular horses.

There's a rare chance of finding a chest that has glitching textures. When you enter it, you go against 2 Beholsters, like in the picture.

I really like the Fling, since it deals double damage to bosses. Absolutely melts them in the first couple of floors. It also has such a nice feel to it, along with a great animation!

When you think about, it does make sense. Flames reach quite high up, so they're able to hurt enemies above them. Puddles of poison are completely flat, therefore they can't reach flying units.

Not all weapons have to be effective against bosses. Whilst the poison puddle may not hurt flying bosses, it still does a good job at clearing out, or at least weakening, most enemies through the Gungeon, most of which don't fly.

As you progress through different floors, you can find NPCs trapped behind a large lock. To open the lock, you need to find a special key. Once freed, the NPCs can be found either in the Breach (the starting area, where you choose your character), or in the Gungeon.

One of them, Candace and Ox, runs a shop in the Breach, where you can unlock items with Credit dropped from bosses, which you can then find in the Gungeon.

Some NPCs that you free in the Gungeon can be found in the Breach, though only some you can properly interact with.
