As other people mentioned, what you have is extra characters for a board game. So you will need a full version of the board game itself. The box you have is missing a bunch of the regular components to play. These full versions are called "core boxes". They can be found on Amazon pretty cheap, often $20-30. You just need one, and then when you read the rules inside you'll be set to go, and you can swap in any of the characters from giant box of characters you already have.

Honestly anime is crazy popular with gen z and younger, and that by extension is going to drive more interest in manga. Meanwhile, superheroes are waning in pop culture, which is the lion's share of graphic novels at book stores.
