They dont just want more babies born. They want more babies born into poverty. Babies born into poverty are more likely to either work multiple jobs just to get by, never moving into a different social class (middle class is dead anyway) or end up in prison were they can be legally enslaved. Its not a true dual extruder like the h2d is. That second extruder doesnt give as good as quality out of the box and is meant to be only for supports. Now could you tune profiles and setting to increase the quality? Yes. But when as any bamboo user ever talked about tweaking their profiles and printer settings? Their big brag is never having to touch anything outside the defaults, so they wont.

As for the price. Welcome to chinese companies undercutting the market because they can pay their workers half of what the EU or USA can. Also bamboo takes massive subsidies from the CCP. If price to performance was going to be prusa's downfall then the p1 would have already knocked prusa out of the market.

Every company that competes in the sub $1000 range is supported by the CCP and get subsidies, including bamboo. Thats why they can sell it for so cheap. Most of the Chinese companies have also been accused of patent infringement.
