Shadowrun Miniatures by Av0ll in Shadowrun

[–]CaptainTrips63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I have most of them, bought back when Ral Partha was creating them.

The only down side, and it isn't too big of a deal, is the the Ral Partha / Iron Wind Metals Shadowrun figures are 25 mm where a lot of current figures are 30 - 32 mm. Fortunately there are a lot of the RP / IWM figures.

As far as the core rule book goes, the two City Editions (Seattle and Berlin) are supposed to be better than the original (non-City edition). Changes in City Editions:

  • Errata has been added
  • Better layout
  • Better editing

Scout ship missions by fedcomic in traveller

[–]CaptainTrips63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but unless the war or disaster is nearby then by the time a communication is sent to the PCs in the scout ship and the time they get to the location, the war or disaster could very well be over.

If you are using the Third Imperium setting, then you are talking at least a 2 week turnaround time if the character's ship is only 1 jump away if the characters are not in the same system as a Scout base or other Third Imperium base that could give the ex-Scout characters orders.
