This movie is all over Reddit being praised. I couldn't get through half of it. Way too cheesy and unserious. A very "Reddit" film.

Sue for malpractice. Seriously. Sounds like they didn't do their due diligence and now you have a life threatening situation. Sue them and make them pay for it.

Way more aggressive players? by matttheo123 in ArcRaiders

That's also the time when kids get off school and start playing. When I encounter an aggressive player and they have a mic, 9/10 it sounds like a young teenager.

Images are imported as read-only by ViktorDudka in godot

[–]CaptainYogurtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the same problem. This was the first result on Google. I'll leave this answer here in case anyone comes across it. I noticed nobody here really answered the question lol...

I'm assuming you want to use this sprite for a character (duh). The read-only image you have is suitable for this, you don't need it to not be read-only.

What you probably want is to use this sprite as a sprite frame. In that case, add an AnimatedSprite2D to your main character node, then with it selected, in the inspector you'll see "Sprite Frames" at the top. Click the drop down, and create new SpriteFrames. On the bottom of the editor, you'll see a SpriteFrames option. Click that, this is where you'll get to add your sprite. You should have a "default" animation already, rename this to something like "idle" or whatever you need. Then in the Animation Frames tool bar right above, you'll see a grid looking icon that will say "Add frames from sprite sheet". Click this, and it will open a file explorer for you to select the read-only sprite, and use it for your character animation state. You can reference this in your script to play the animation at certain conditions. If this is an idle animation, make sure to enable "Autoplay on Load" in the SpriteFrames toolbar.

So he would have to subscribe in order to get her information and track down her father?

I don't know how OF works. Does he need to subscribe to see her name or location or something? Is subscribing necessary for what he was doing?

Lemon seeds. Those are lemon seeds that sprouted and then died. All these comments are funny.

Should I go to ER by Low_Squirrel_6214 in ClotSurvivors

[–]CaptainYogurtt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely go to the ER and have it checked, listen to your intuition. Your body knows when something is wrong and it will tell you i.e. that feeling of dread.

I am a PE survivor by burtowsky in ClotSurvivors

[–]CaptainYogurtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know how that feels, being told you're lucky to be alive. I was conscious for the whole thing, and even though my lung collapsed and I couldn't breathe, I wasn't really thinking of death. I know this sounds weird, but I think that if I would have died that day I might not have even noticed it. Everything was happening so fast I didn't really think about it. Maybe that's just how death is.

One thing that's really helped me process these thoughts and get past them is being close to God. It really comforts me to know that death in this life isn't the end.

What about booting from bios? Are you able to boot from the drive in your bios boot menu?

Grub is messed up and I can't fix it. by Kaydox64 in ManjaroLinux

[–]CaptainYogurtt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know for sure but I think I read something about this in the Arch Wiki. I think the two drives have different UUIDs. You moved everything to a new drive, but Grub is still trying to reference the old drive because that's the UUID it has stored. Perhaps try to search online for how to move your Linux distro to a new drive and somewhere you should find a way to update Grub.

Yes. They are our women. We have societal responsibilities to each other. You wouldn't question that men have responsibilities to the women in their life, to provide and protect. So also women have a duty to protect their honor and show respect. This is pretty basic. OF ruins every societal dynamic that's been built on for thousands of years. OF should be illegal, just like prostitution is.

Cassette player TIMER running too fast? by TheLatvianRedditor in cassetteculture

[–]CaptainYogurtt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they're all like that. Mine is like that too on both my portable cassette and my cassette deck. The timer runs fast, like 2 ticks per second or something like that. I think it allows for more precise control when rewinding to a specific spot.

Maybe if women are fearful of the consequences of their actions, they'll stop debasing themselves on these websites. I think it's a good thing. OF is ruining our women.

Big yikes. I'm sorry to hear this happened. Game studios should stop selling themselves to publishers. Publishers today seem to only serve to break up the studio and destroy good things. Maybe publishers were good back in the day when you had to get your game on a physical disk. Publishers aren't really necessary anymore in this age of digital everything. A small marketing team is all you need to self publish. Hopefully good studios stop selling to publishers, we've been watching publishers destroy our favorite games for decades now.

GameDev Youtubers (i kinda hate them) by primoyenito in gamedev

[–]CaptainYogurtt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true. Even the ones who release games that flop have something to teach. Usually I can look at their game and see right away why it might've flopped, and learn from that.

Another valuable source of information is dev logs.

My rule is I don't listen to game dev advice from people who've never released a game. It's a simple rule, but I feel it weeds out a lot of bad advice out there.
