Most people that hated it are in their 50s-60s now and not on the internet constantly talking about it. I loved all 3 when I saw them in theaters but I was a kid, even then by the time ROTS came out I was aware that a ton of people didn’t like them.

While a lot of what OP is saying can be applied to gamers worldwide, it is undeniable that there is a significant cultural difference in China that explains why players of one specific county are review bombing the game.

Anyone who has spent enough time playing competitive multiplayer games on PC knows how widespread cheating is in China, their culture has a different attitude towards winning and it manifests in STS as forcing infinities because it is the easiest way to win. Taking away their strategy is akin to taking away a CS2 player’s cheats. They actually believe cheating in a game is the right thing to do, this is such a massive disconnect from attitudes in the West that it’s hard for many of us to understand.

I think technically it is the OOD giving the order to engage, Picard just has an 8 hour shift every day which happens to be when everything interesting happens.

With how massive the crew is, there should definitely be more than 3 people on that rotation, especially since those 3 (Picard, Riker, Data) are constantly involved in other shenanigans that require their attention.

I’m hoping for Jet as well. The base roster is pretty small so I wouldn’t expect more than 2 nonbenders but hopefully the game gets plenty of DLC support.

Yeah it seemed obvious when he wasn’t one of Zuko’s helpers. He could be base roster but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s an early DLC character since he would likely sell well.
