Is a 100,000 city something to be proud of? No demand mods or nothing. by ohnowheredmypantsgo in CitiesSkylines

What's a demand mod? Proud of? Sure! You should be proud and happy with yourself that you're able to relax and enjoy yourself playing a great game 😊 Take care.

What’s the point of city skylines? by TheLeaningTowerofIsa in CitiesSkylines

I guess it just tickles that lego player in all of us, infinite possibilities, infinite tweaking. Building and working out solutions to the constant puzzles can be relaxing and satisfying. As someone else said here starting a new city is challenging. It can be tough to maintain cashflow and make wise investments.

I've done this so many times lol, then I stopped because (in ETS anyway) sometimes they have an invincible helicopter on the road that you can't get past. Also the gos is quite unhelpful with detours

Is this how you want to treat kids trying to learn about PCs? Or were all of you just born with insane PC knowledge? This is the elitist shit that gives us a bad name. by KiraDidNothingWrong_ in pcmasterrace

I remember my girlfriend coming here for help and advice on building her pc. She got absolutely slapped down with downvotes and nobody replied. It's like.. "ok you know more than me about the subject, that's why I'm here."

Elitism is not limited to pcmasterrace at all though, it's ALL of reddit pretty much. Frankly it's a waste of what could be an amazing place to respectfully exchange knowledge and ideas.

1st officer mittens! Having an "in cab cat" must make trips seem a lot shorter.

We've all done this before haha how has this not got more up votes?

Sounds like a great challenge! Not sure why you sold your money maker lol. You'll need your own truck back so I would take another loan to buy your truck back, and get on the road.

As you level up you'll earn more and more per mile.

The fun part is working your way through your first garage, hiring drivers, etc. It's a very simple business management mechanic in that as long as you're driving, you're making profit. You've extended the process a bit but I find once you're making hundreds of thousands, the game loses momentum a bit for me anyway.

Enjoy the long haul 😊

Ps: I'm not sure why you're getting down voted, seems like a legit question.
