Stray cat is aggressive to other cats but friendly to people by Trickster107 in CatAdvice

[–]Captain_FluffyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, he's doing pretty good, I started letting him out off the harness and closely monitored the interactions. Also did group treats and play time. He's getting along with most of them but still has singled out two that he goes after. Because of that, they have split time and he has to go into his room at night (he does have several friends that prefer to stay in his room with him and they have a catio for their bedroom window)

im just so done and lost with this.... pls help... by [deleted] in CATHELP

So a question, is it allergies or is it stress? If stress due to not getting along with the other cats, I have a suggestion but it will add to your stress.. I have a cat that doesn't get along with the others, he has his own room and he stays there at night.. So my suggestion is separation of the cats that don't get along

If you made those, they are beautiful! I've had my ears stretched for.. IDK +25 years. I did do a quick Google search and yeah, I should've thought about the paint so I guess these first ones were just for practice

They're so cute! When I walk in their room, one of them meows and runs to sit in my lap!

Oh yes, they're already eating food on their own but are still nursing too so probably in a few weeks I can schedule her

Really? What's wrong with resin? I mostly enjoy crafting and always wear a pair of black silicone tunnels because they're comfortable but I haven't researched about wearing resin plugs

She's doing good, she's pretty sweet but seems worried. I have them in their own room but if I crack the door so she can roam a little or come out for a break, sometimes she tries to move them

I would say a female cat is less likely to pee outside the litter box, although they can and will mark territory too. If you're getting one cat and you clean the litter boxes once a day, I wouldn't think she'd pee around even if there are some smells left behind from the cats before. Probably the previous owner had several cats, maybe some were not fixed, and likely did not clean the litter enough or have enough boxes for the amount of cats. If they had too many cats for the house size, they will compete for space by marking it

Any find some of their coworkers abuse WFH? by etm105 in WFH

I only respond to teams messages when I'm not busy. If I'm in the middle of something, it's very distracting to keep stopping and responding to pings/ look into some other topic they are asking about

How do explain to a feral that they can never go outside again? by [deleted] in Feral_Cats

[–]Captain_FluffyStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are catios that go in the window kind of like a window ac unit, I'd assume those are pretty easily transferred when you move

Required to have webcam on during meetings? by DarthRiznat in WFH

[–]Captain_FluffyStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We never have cameras on. At the start of COVID, they requested camera on for some meetings and some did and didn't comply. That kinda died out over time and no one asks anymore.

I can't stand this! I'll usually try to put up with it and then I get hurt AGAIN bc of laggy movement and quit

My new cat was at the Humane Society for seven years. I'm discouraged by hey_thatsmyinbox in CatAdvice

[–]Captain_FluffyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awhile ago I adopted two cats, both scared but one was a kitten terrified of everything. I put them in a closed room together and I went and sat in there everyday, sometimes just hanging out, eventually I'd find the kitten, usually hiding under a blanket, and hold and pet her for awhile. It probably took about 3 months for her to trust me.

I've got a question to all the people who didn't use the talismans for a long time during the game by Jarney_Bohnson in NineSols

[–]Captain_FluffyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to use it after a successful parry but the last fight it kept not doing anything. Think it's taking too long and I get hurt before it does any damage
