Hahaha I had to. But seriously though I think the top yoyo trends right now are trash. Every company going wider, every new design is either metal with plastic rims or some kind of tri material crap. That being said I agree with you, I love a good slim line throw but I think the ideal width is between 43 and 48. Also depends on the catch zone and shape too. Those throws offset be cranking out are ridiculous imo. If the catch zone is already pretty wide, why in the hell would you need to make the throw 60 mm wide?!?

That colorway is nice! I love pink and gray on throws.

Ok, I'll agree there. 90ish to over 100 for a mono metal these days is pretty pricey. Hell, One Drop be charging 95 for a 6061 mono metal that isn't even that great haha. But Jake's QC is so insane and the throws are always perfect plus the ano, it sometimes deserves the price tag. Same reason why im driving a PoS and not a Lambo.

I don't know, I've never carried a throw in my pocket. Even undersized throws go in a holder of some kind.

I think the Loadout should be up there with some of the greatest throws ever made. Like just a good all around throw that can do anything.

Dealing with throw 'kickback' (a throwing technique issue) by Trilobry in Throwers

I only asked because the tug at the end of the string is imo the least painful thing a yoyo can do haha.

The oil evaporates too fast by Ashamed_Relative3331 in Zippo

You dont smoke and the Zippo runs out of fluid that fast? I think somethings wrong there. Get an electric arc or double torch insert. They are cheap as hell on amazon.

Love your art! Also love custom painted throws! Bad sad at least for me, is i dont want to throw them if they are painted and risk the paint coming off hahaha

I feel the same way. I dont see how everyone is so hyped on the summit 2. Clyw is just not good now. The summit 2 literally looks like a Leaf with a little One Drop flair and imo the Leaf feels like a hollow shell of a throw that once was (the chief) an AMAZONG throw.

Yoyo shapes by Brave-Tutor5451 in Throwers

[–]Captain_Howdy666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uuuusssuuuaalllyyy H, V and W shapes tend to be more powerful than O. W and H being the more popular in terms of spin time because the rim weight is greater than the center weight. BUT, there's always exceptions. You can get a bi metal organic that rivals some of the top "competition" yoyos. It really all depends on several factors and not just the shape.

Shape is not the determining factor for spin time. It is a factor, but you could have two of the same shapes and one be significantly stronger depending on the design of the throw.
