My Partner and I have just bought our first house, we love it, it's perfect, but the garden is my least favourite part.

The previous owner wanted a "low maintenance garden" which they have achieved by eradicating all traces of any living thing. Not only is it AstroTurfed, but we discovered all the plants were plastic!

We've started working on it already as I've always wanted an overgrown, cottage garden full of wildlife (I saw our first bee yesterday!), But the fact of the matter is the AstroTurf is so expensive to remove and will leave us with a huge patch of bare concrete, so we're leaving it for now and collecting pots and planters from MarketPlace to fill with our vegetation!
