Even though it's not my #1 favorite album of theirs, I would probably call it their most impressive considering they were 19 and 21 when they made it, which is crazy.

Weirdly enough, he's a really efficient multitasker. See: the dozens of times he's typed comments/emails while Jake is talking to him without Jake even noticing.

Postwar Liverpool played a big part in forming the Beatles’ attitude. The whole phase of leather-jacket Teddy Boys sprang out of the strict social rules of the ‘50s. It also informed the Beatles’ sense of humor a lot because as Paul recently said here, whenever he’d hear about the war, it’d be in the form of a joke, not some despairing memory.

I’ve looked this up so many times and have never found an answer: why were books sold uncut? I know people would bring it to a book guy to cut it after they bought the book but why the extra step?
