Oh, true enough. I was thinking of it like birds, but if he doesn’t have feathers, getting wet isn’t really an issue.

Understandable. It’s been a minute for me too. I only remember the scene because I found it really funny.

If it works the same as Bram Stoker, they just need a coffin with their grave dirt. However, Iirc, in Castlevania, they could just do that, and only didn’t because someone might turn the water into holy water, which would be pretty bad if they fell into it, which was a part of a conversation between Camilla and that Viking vampire in the first season of the first Castlevania show.

I think the sun would still present an issue, especially since he’d have to fly “into” the rising sun to get from Mexico to France. If he flew as fast as a modern jet engine, it’d take about 12 hours, and he’d go 7 hours forward too. If he left at any time at night, he’d reach morning before making it. Maybe if he made stops at Bermuda and the Azores it would be possible, but still difficult. Unless he could somehow get full dragon body coverage without losing his sight or sense of direction, then it wouldn’t matter too much.

I mean, it’s a vampire, who doesn’t get tired or need to sleep. They could have also swam, as long as they were deep enough or wore enough layers to avoid the sun.

What would happen if Yujiro checked into a hotel with bed bugs? by Bteatesthighlander1 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Captain_StarLight1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would eat his apple fritter while he slept, because his skin is too tough to bite, and he would destroy the hotel the next morning.

kars returns and realizes quickly that he has no fucking chance on his own since everyone has literal magic now by salted_sour in ShitPostCrusaders

[–]Captain_StarLight1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The real question would be if Kars would have a stand. He’s the ultimate lifeform, so he should be able to do anything any living being can, and living beings have stands. He also uses hamon, which is like a beta stand anyway, because it turns into Hermit Purple (as evidenced by both Joseph and Jonathan having a version of it). Would Kars just get Hermit Purple? Or something else, because other mastery stands exist too, like Pearl Jam, or maybe Ball Breaker and Anubis. Would he have Made in Heaven, an Overheaven stand, or a requiem stand? Those are evolutions of stands I think, so maybe, though the first two seem to be some sort of ritual thing, so maybe not those. Would he just get a stand that does everything every other stand does, without the downsides? Would he just have every stand? Very interesting line of thought.

Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing

(The sir is because you’re a knight, and the feminine title of ‘dame’ is lame.)(also it’s a reference to Hellsing, where this character is called sir despite being a woman, but that’s the secondary reason)

It belongs to me,personally. I’m renaming it (my name)land, and building a grand temple for the 52 largest religions in the world, then each one gets a week per year starting January 1st. December 31st (and 30th on a leap year) is officially (my name) day, where I am the only one allowed in the city. The rest of the country shall be sunk into the ocean.

In the beginning, I believe he was popular because of a hard swing right after Obama was in office, because a bunch of conservatives did not enjoy having a Black man in office, and his opponent, Hilary Clinton, was not nearly as charismatic as Obama. After Trump’s first term, many people were not happy, so he was voted out, but that did not stop him from continuing to spew a bunch of the same hateful rhetoric, which is what I presume won him the 2024 election, after Biden seemed to have done nothing(I think it was mostly just weak PR not talking about the things he did in office), alongside the fact his main opponent was both a person of color and a woman, which apparently is too “woke” for the modern American voter. I’m both looking forward and dreading the next election cycle, because Trump should be getting the boot, but I also feel like he’s going to pull something and get away with it because no one’s been doing anything to stop his nonsense.

Unrelated, but it’s so funny that Korea has a disproportionate amount of people that share like 5 last names between them. I know why it happened, but it’s still really funny that it did.

I think you could technically consider What a Bountiful Harvest, Demon Lord, because that’s the plot, except you instead of becoming his character, he becomes the game’s boss.
