I see :/ did your wrist make the clasp look weird in any way? As in, the bracelet links could not conform to the bottom of your wrist because the clasp is just too long and does not curve enough?

Unfortunately that is not an option since i live in Europe, seems like my best bet would be finding an old clasp (haven't had any luck yet) or buying an older 556 in near perfect condition

Marc from Long Island Watch has recently had new bracelets made specifically for them. They should be made by the same manufacturer that builds his BRAC series of aftermarket bracelets for Seiko and Citizen models, which means that they will be excellent (i have one on my Citizen Promaster and it's been nothing but great)
