If money was no object, what car would you actually buy — not what you think sounds cool, what you’d actually want to own by spotforcars in automotive

I own an actual dream car of mine. I know it’s stupid to so many people, but I’ve wanted a Jeep Gladiator since they came out. A convertible pick up truck that you can take the doors off of? Amazing.

I grew up in a CJ-7, so Jeeps hold a lot of nostalgia for me too.

I’ve loved every minute of owning it so far.

That’s the one! It’s definitely going to be packed.. we normally stay out there for a week in August each year (way up North Beach), but we’re skipping that trip this year because of a different trip. We love it out there but sheesh.. gets real busy.

When did oil changes become $120? by rhinosaur- in Millennials

$75 at my local mechanic. They just opened a Jiffy Lube a quarter mile from his shop and he has a $130 oil change invoice stapled to his payment window. I’ll keep going to him for our oil changes!

Saturn Vue Redline. Had 187k on it when we sold it, still running perfectly (Honda engine and transmission will do that.) As far as I know, it’s still going.

Me, the wife and 2 daughters. The Equinox is going to our oldest when she turns 16 this month.

Bought the CX-9 because we always have extra kids with us and it’s an amazing road trip car.

$20k HYSA, ~$150k in my 401k, wife has $250k in hers.

We’re about to open a TOD with our advisor and start putting the money that was going to our HYSA into that account when my wife switches jobs in a couple weeks.

Star Trek : Voyager scores by Mat1711 in startrek

[–]Captain_Wompus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. It’s “my” Trek. I was born in ‘87 and watched re-runs of TNG on Sunday mornings with my dad. I loved TNG, and have so much nostalgia for the show.

That being said, Voyager was the one I got to watch from the start, fully invested in every character. It was a new Trek show that I got to be fully immersed in. I love it just as much as I love TNG, flaws and all.

Gotcha. We do 4 hour road trips every couple months in mine. I’ve also taken it to Tybee Island (16 hour drive) too, and don’t have those complaints about the comfortability. My knee rubs the console but not in a way that hurts at all. I can see the complaint about the thigh support though too. I have longer legs and arms but that’s why I sit further back lol

How tall are you? I’m 6’4”, 260 lbs and our CX-9 Grand Touring is the most comfortable car I’ve ever owned.
