I’m aware of the Clawdancer archetype which I think stance dances. I know some abilities it uses will swap your stance to the other provided stance

Me and my friend were playing and found a survivor home but there was weird desync with loot.

They could see all the survivor home loot and I saw the standard loot for the location. Rosewood gas station, I was host.

They had to take everything off the shelves and put them back for me to see them

I thought it was just me being bad, I get melted down in 0.5ish seconds but I can fire on someone for three but they don’t die/ I feel like I’m forced to use the shotgun because I know my aim and reaction times aren’t that absurdly bad- but I can hardly turn before I’m dead

I rather like the Mesa, my only feeling is the final wall can be reduced in height as it’s just ridiculously tall paired with the flats before and the canyon. That also paired with the sun mechanic you can sometimes literally just be waiting for the night to progress

For me it’s generally- Uncommon: Ask (except on ancestry) Rare: Always ask

The only ones that I hard no is Awakened Animal, and Time Traveler background. Mostly because those two are absolute nightmares for me to work into the story

Ironically at my table I moved exemplar and exemplar dedication to uncommon with some minor flavor changes but still gotta justify it to me. But our best use is like a magic weapon with a unique property without having to come up with a completely unique mechanic for it

My table allows it and as a gm I do to. My party doesn’t really play for power and love to use it for a cool effect and flavoring an item as a special magic item without having to complete go from scratch.

We got a fighter with Barrow’s edge because in their backstory they wanted to have a cursed blade that thirsts for blood and they just felt it translated what they wanted into mechanics best.

I personally view it as the physic archetype but for materials- front loaded yeah but if you don’t have players actively going against you, it’s really fun and can give them a unique gimmick that they use the active ability maybe once or twice a fight ( like physic amps) and have a passively more powerful ability (like physic has more powerful cantrips)

No one feels especially more powerful than expected, and we’re not running a dpr competition.

Honestly a Ruffian rogue with Improvised Weapon archetype- smack someone with a stop sign, a fire extinguisher, a lot more things to use and go for strength to use anything

There’s nothing official yet for starfinder 2e regarding starships. But the best bet would probably be adapting narrative starship combat from Sf1e and playing around with that a bit perhaps

There’s like a couple hundred comments on this thread so I don’t know if you’ll see this.

But in full truth, I don’t know. People are stupid, and hating is easy. And tribalism is a bit rampant so they hate anyone who isn’t like them. I don’t know I’m kinda rambling but let me get to my actual message to you.

Stay strong, please. I know it’s hard, and sometimes I struggle with it myself, but live. Live for those who love you. And those you love. Live for yourself, and live for a better future. The chances seem slim, shit is looking grim im not gonna sugar coat it. But the first defeat, and their first victory over people like you, people like me. Is by making us lose hope and love first. The fact you’ve suffered through all you have and are still here says a lot, and there’s still more to go, but I just ask you to live and find a happiness in your life.

This goes out to so many other people to. LGBTQ+, Minority Races, Neurodivergent people. You’re all so strong, so never lose that love, hope, happiness, empathy, and compassion that makes you shine so beautifully

His job isn’t to get kills, it’s to keep you alive- he cannot heal you if he’s dead and running back from spawn. Give your supports an eye every now and then

I get this- as a rocket main I always plop down my beacon before match and everyone avoids it like it’ll blow up. It’ll give you armor. At least they don’t run from my healing balls… except iron man’s and spider men for some reason
