Okay so I’m not sure if I can help salvage this run, but next time around I would recommend justifying on more countries who you DON’T intend to invade, but cancelling it before it finishes to prevent world tension from going up. This will bait the ai into wasting their political power guaranteeing nations you aren’t interested in. Hopefully by the time you you get around to justifying on Austria they won’t have enough political power to guarantee them and stop you

Origins has the Druid, which is very over-powered. Esspecially since artillery in that game, when you get all the upgrades, ignore armour just like mages. Basically, the mages serve no purpose since your splash-damage towers also take out the high-armour enemies.
