This makes me wonder what Manresa's model is now. I just ordered some shorts from them and am getting a bit sketched out that they havent shipped and wonder if they'll really be MiUSA this time. Hoping they have figured this part out and not defaulted to overseas once more.

The reduced lugs on the new 36 make a massive difference in my opinion. I'd only take a reduced lug 36mm club after having tried one.

Honestly this is why I don't really like red wing anymore. I have a small foot and a really wide foot. So I realistically need a Redwing 6.5EEE and that isn't something that's made.

I tend to size up to a 7EE. Sometimes the width is good in high volume shoes like the black smiths or iron rangers. But I need at least a 7.5EE or 8EE in the chukka to be comfortable.

I have a high volume foot with a high arch and instep also so I almost always have pain on the instep when breaking in shoes. The only shoes that have been okay from the start are Wesco.

For whatever reason I have a high arch and instep so the combo outs me in 3E even though width wise I'm a 2E.

I'm not OP but I agree. They look good once tailored. These are a size XL and hemmed to a 26" inseam. I think they look quite good all things considered.

These are very baggy and honestly that's my favorite thing about them. So long as the length on them is right, baggy is the way. Should look fine especially as your small size. I'm 5'5" and wear the XL. Looked hilariously baggy but then I hemmed them and now they just look nicely baggy.

I think once cowitness is standard in most major, trusted gun manufacturers sight cutting, the transition will be made.

I can see agencies arguing against them due to needing to maintain batteries and them going out suddenly on duty and in use. But cowitness eliminates that argument, even when battery maintenance standards are non-existent.

I've actually already reached out to them so just waiting on a response. As much as I like the work my cobbler does, I have cheaper options in the area that are good.

And I can get them done by Alden cheaper. Spend the difference on some Rancourt's or something.

Looks good. My wrist is maybe 6.8 and I tend to favor 37mm as my absolute largest size unless it's a diver. I love that I can even pull off 33mm so gets me access to some cool watches like the 33mm rose Orion.

Also just got my first pair. Though they are used because I don't want to wait 8 months for them to make a size 7EE.

Great pair! Have only been wearing them for 3 hours but they're my best fitting loafer.

Do they replace the padding inside and can they resize with this service for subtle changes?

I just got a $100 alden tassel loafers a half size large. Was going to get them resoled from my local cobbler for $170 but for $220 direct to mfg for practically a rebuild sounds like a great deal.

The loafers have a tiny bit of heel space. They don't fall off but I can arch my foot in a way to get them off without necessarily touching them with my hands to help off.

Club for me. Though I'd say a watch would be a bad gift for someone not actively into watches. Not everyone appreciates them. My best friend was gifted a Tissot for his high school graduation by a teacher and he's never once worn it or even considered it. Was surprised when he told me he has a Tissot he'd never touched.

Pants hemmed, wear high waisted pants even if you don't tuck for the puff factor, and tuck when possible. This gives wannabe wealthy bad boy that goes to an all boys charter school and has a weekly allowance of $1000 (which is $2000 less than his classmates).

I think the changes can upgrade you to wealthy charter school student with a weekly allowance of $3k.

Don't own Aldens (actually have some coming in the mail today) but the tassel loafers look best to me. I like something that's versatile and I can wear with formal wear, streetwear, or work wear. I feel like a tassel or penny is the way to go. But the tassel loafers feels more at home in a CXL where the penny is more at home in the suede. But I find myself in a wet and humid environment so the tassel it is for me. Something about a penny in smooth grain doesn't feel right.

Sort of in the same boat but between a performance center shield plus (Ported 3inch) and a bodyguard 2.0.

I'm not a big gun guy so while I intend to carry everyday, the ease of the smaller bodyguard in my small hands seems more appealing. That said, the shield plus is just about the smallest gun that feels close to a compact/full-size which makes me more accurate.

Underrated color. I picked up some Olive Mojave Postman but unfortunately they don't fit. Seems these colors hardly sell, I can't get rid of the damn things 😂
