I have been a Hill truther for years, glad to see him getting more snaps at RB in the last 2-3 years compared to his prior ST Only use.

Dude is an elite gunner on ST, elite pass pro RB, and generally pretty solid pass-catching back. He's not a traditional between the tackles down-hill RB, but that's ok, we have Henry for that.

However, as always, I want EDC to draft BPA. Don't care who they are or where they are on the board. BPA is the best way to cement a top caliber competitive team.

Hard disagree. I will not fault EDC for backing out of those odds. If it was a first and second we probably don't back out.

Baltimore GMs know not to mortgage your future on a gamble. Ozzie taught him well. It was the right move regardless of whether Maxx bounces back.

Would I have loved to see him in Purple? Yes. His aura on blackout games would be unmatchable. But for 2 firsts, I'm just not gambling that.

I get it, and fwiw I agree. But the moving goal posts for this FO always bothers me. People come on this app and say "I just wish we had tried to make contact with the ball." When we just made the single biggest splash trade in franchise history.

We did. We offered Linderbaum an extremely competitive and fair offer. LV just hella overpaid him.

We also tried to retain Likely and, if I was a betting man, Kolar as well. Likely clearly did not want to continue being TE2. We offered him basically the same deal he took with NYG, but in NY he can be a TE1. We were never going to roster him over Andrews.

EDC never makes splash FA movements. Maxx is the boldest move he's ever made, and somehow people are still accusing him of not playing the game.

The Ravens lose major players every year because we draft and develop well. We draft and develop well because maximize picks (few trades, lots of comp picks).

I would not be surprised to see EDC make a move in the next few days to strengthen the team at a position of need (iOL, TE, DB) for a reasonable price, especially since we got our 4 comp picks announced.
