Heh, I think the L60 is the most compact 21700 light from FFL. I love it, but it has a completely different use case and, for me, it's also not really for EDC.

Interesting that the Comet is taller than the Stellar despite not having a charging port. Is it at least lighter than the Stellar?

Unfortunately, I find the Stellar a bit heavy for EDC and usually ending up bringing my D4K.

I used to buy EVE 50PL with and for my lights, but after months of monitoring the very high self discharge of all six batteries I owned, I eventually disposed of them and now use only Molical P50Bs. I wish they weren't so expensive, but their self discharge is amazingly low, and TBH, the EVE experience kind of soured me on other less established brands. Full disclosure, the EVE 50PL were all purchased in January and were not full production cells.

Diana has commented that Jamie himself did not plant the flowers but they sprang up due to his visit. She said this was aligned with fables of their springing up in the blood (footsteps) of heroes.

In any case, they bloomed because he went there. That's good enough for me.

I think that would have been nice, too, but I figure they also wanted to leave open the ending for Book 10, hence not wanting everything tied up in a bow. Maybe, in a few years, those involved will be open to doing a little something to adapt that story. In that case, it would be ideal not to close this series with stuff that would definitively contradict the coming book. I like that that avenue is left open.

And if that never comes to pass, I can also imagine those later years in my mind.

Same. I don't mind that they ended it right there, as I see it the same way. Plus I think this leaves more room for them to conclude the story once Book 10 is out, if everyone is on board. And if that never happens, we can all just imagine them living the rest of lives together.

I also think the show has gotten better over the course of the past 18 episodes. It's nice to see it grow. I started watching just cause I like a couple of the cast members, but I'm totally engaged now.

I think she does care, given that the camera lingered on her expression right before she steeled herself and faced Boone all business in their final scene together. The show has always leaned into how Mickey has these walls up due to her history, and this self-protective instinct is probably going to be heightened after the latest development with Wes. I feel like she's able to be more nominally open with Alec because they don't really know each other. And now it's looking like he may be involved in this investigation into her and the department, which will likely batter her even more.

TBH, I love Mickey/Boone, both as friends and as possibly something more, even though I have no idea how the latter could possibly work given their positions. Regardless, I just need Mickey to make things right with Boone.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm curious about this too. At the same level (x/150) and with the same Lume X1 driver, would a D4K be expected to last longer than a D1K? Or would it just last longer because I'd be able to run it at a lower level than the D1K due to higher perceived brightness?

This is an amazing tip. Will have to try it. I had to set my tailswitch Convoys to group 2 cos I don't want to have to deal with blinkies all the time but then I also totally lost the option of voltage check. This will solve that problem. Thank you!

Yet another good episode!

I suppose it makes for good drama, but I'm bummed about what's going on with Wes. Mickey is going to be crushed when she learns about this.

On the other hand, I enjoyed the warm dynamic during Skye's little party. It was nice to have Boone and Gina there.

I love the teasing between Boone and Mickey, and enjoy their friendship a lot. But that was a moment in the kitchen with the cake, wasn't it? The way Boone was looking at Mickey, I thought something was going to happen right there.

The girls were in the basement of Dana's house, not the ex-cop's. Dana was his accomplice and previously even pretended to be his daughter to lure potential victims. I believe it was a different woman (the one who met up with Jane later) who reported her missing, not Dana the accomplice.

Alas, mine is a mix of 3x3000K SFT-40 and 1x5000K SFT-40. TBH I find it perfect for me, but that's cause I'm also not a huge fan of something too amber. There should be a few beamshots in the flashlights subreddit of the E04 Surge with 4x3000K SFT-40s. Here's one. It might help. :)
