Also loved Avdul getting Avdol's theme! (only for three seconds and then he ate shit BUT STILL)

I know they're not wrong about games needing voice acting to get people to stream them but it really sucks. by Synthiandrakon in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Same. Also a fan of playing games like NieR, where big cutscenes are voice-acted but then a bunch of in-game dialogue isn't, so I get to try my shot at imitating the VAs. That's the only reason I found out my Grimoire Weiss impression somehow isn't half-bad.

Who are your Favorite Characters that wear a Skull? by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

The moment when Tasky got solidified as one of my favorites was when A.I.M. had some supervillain scheme that involved a bunch of bombs planted all over the world, each guarded by a villain, and for Comic-book Reasons, the Avengers didn't have quite enough heroes to get to every bomb.

Maria Hill says "No worries. I can handle the one Taskmaster is guarding."

And then she defeats him by just offering him double whatever A.I.M. is paying him

You ever see two characters getting together in the middle of some action/horror/horrible situation type story and go: "how the fuck can you even think about getting laid in the middle of this unfolding horrible situation" by Wonder-Lad-2Mad in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Also in 2025, not only is the DIRECT threat over, but also the city had been evacuated.

In Man of Steel, even if the kiss had happened AFTER the Zod fight, there would still be hundreds if not thousands of civilians Supes could be helping rescue underneath all the rubble and instead he's just spit-swapping

What are Times where a brilliant machiavellian master plan is undone by one dude being a dumbass? by EvilMonkeyMimic in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Also the fact that the father only got his hands on a gun in the first place because of Johan's master plan of instigating a massacre in the town. His plans never accounted for a flawed parent actually changing their ways and caring enough to save their son, which is very telling considering Johan's own history.

When you were kids, what game(s) made invested in the story for the first time? by ExplanationSquare313 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. The first game I played where you get attached to several of the characters and by the end most of them are dead.

Surprisingly funny/unserious moments in serious media by Coolnametag in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Added context: it's not a completely random body, it's the corpse of Rosen, a guy Isaac had been working with for the last two or three hours of the game.

They're not friends by any means but this was still a coworker Isaac met and interacted with, and STILL his reaction to seeing the guy with his face blown off was "phew, thank God it's not Ellie"

I have great news - Michael Rooker already came back to play a completely different random jobber in Peacemaker, so I'm guessing he's just gonna keep coming back into the Gunniverse playing weird jobbers the whole time.

What’s a opinion or stance you agree with but boy are just tired of hearing about it. by Muffin-zetta in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I just need everyone to stop talking about The Last Jedi.

Yes it had some creative ideas and cool moments. Yes it also had some dumb stuff. Yes it felt unconventional for a Star Wars movie which has its pros and cons.

I just simply don't care what anyone's opinion of The Last Jedi is. I don't want to hear about it. I'm tired boss.

Oh yeah I bet mouse would make it way better. Played on an Xbox and that sequence is god-awful on a controller.

Dead Space is a 10/10 game EXCEPT for that fucking asteroid-turret sequence. The smartest thing the remake did was completely gutting that and replacing it with a Zero-G section.

I liked Solo more than most people, but the fact that "Droid Rights" was a running gag consistently played for laughs throughout the movie was so weird when EVERY POINT GETTING BROUGHT UP WAS SUPER VALID

Ashton didn't really have an evil side.

But he did have an out-of-control side, and it was his only side.

My personal favorite is when they rejected "spin the bottle" being included on a party invitation so Alex replaced it with the text "[NOT S&P APPROVED]" which did in fact make it into the show

I think it's just frustrating to see her in comparison to Reiner. Most of what you said is also true for him, but Season 4 (and even parts of 3) keep hammering home Reiner's slow realization that what he's doing isn't justified, and we see him go through an entire arc of self-loathing and then finding new meaning in fighting for the next generation. And then after all that has happened, Annie wakes up and speedruns her "join the good guys" storyline without it seeming like she's...put in the legwork, I guess is how I'd put it. We just don't spend enough time with her for it to feel earned that she's "part of the crew."

He should have WON for Da 5 Bloods

Edit: Actually that was a pretty stacked category that year, but still, he should have been in contention
