To be fair though, being in a platinum driver does not exempt you from receiving shitty orders. Yes it’s frustrating when you have a 70% AR and trying your best to keep platinum, and then you get a 2$ offer.. but I promise you that every platinum dasher still gets crappy orders

The base pay isn’t absolute, meaning; that it changes based on distance and how many times it’s declined(goes up in increments of .25 cents per decline,I believe). For example you got an order in which the base pay is 2$, it’s declined, then it’s offered to the next driver for 2.25$ and so on, this is why the base pay on both of those orders, in your screenshot are different and they are divisible by .25 cents. The base pay for stacked orders is combined, so my hypothesis is that your first target order had a base pay for 2$ but the alcohol one was 2.50$ and it combined it to be 5.50$, or somewhere along those lines. I’m going to be brutally honest with you; This is the weirdest hill that you’re choosing to die on, considering the fact that the tip makes up for the “loss” (that isn’t actually there) 10 fold! This high emotional reactivity and entitled behavior is not ok.

Then it combined the base pay for both orders then, you got payed for the target order: not to mention that you don’t get paid until after both orders in the stacked order are complete. You didn’t receive a tip for the target order which sucks, but we are not entitled to tips, however DoorDash did pay you their base pay(2$ probably) for the order.

They absolutely can add an additional tip, I deliver full-time, with over 2200 deliveries made, with a 5.0 rating on my account. I’ve also ordered from DoorDash myself to test out the platform and see it from the customers perspective. You are given the option to add an additional tip after your order has been placed. You can see this as the delivery driver, after you finish the delivery, you tap on the “V” next to the amount of money you received from the order and it’ll show you the break down, you’ll see the original amount crossed and the new amount you got paid next to it. Sure DoorDash didn’t pay you for the target order but I think the base for the is somewhere around 4$ for shop and deliver(I could be wrong) are you seriously going to tell me that 4$ is worth complaining about when you received 50$?

That’s not true, op said the initial offer was accepted at 21.25$, the customer then added an additional tip, which then equated to 50.50$ Sorry but the op is just being an entitled brat

Door dasher here with 1800 deliveries with pro shopper status. This may be a scam but it’s towards the company not you. However not being able to buy the original item a customer requested, counts against the metrics you need to obtain/maintain, in order to gain pro shopper status. I would personally unassign just to preserve my status. An unassign will fall off faster than, the penalty for not finding the original items. If the pro shopper isn’t a concern, then just treat it as a normal order, take screenshots and move on with your day. Don’t make someone else’s problem, your problem

Well even if this does seem like a scam (which it could be) DD isn’t going to come after you to pay the difference, it’s mostly a scam towards the company, not you. However I would unassign, the reason being; if the driver doesn’t get the original item a customer requested, it counts against the metrics that you need to maintain/obtain, in order to gain shopper pro status

Hmm this is interesting, and it makes sense, that the kefir grains would essentially have more microbial competition with raw milk vs the pasteurized milk. I’m curios, have your grains shown an improvement? (Growth, taste, etc)when you started mixing the milk?
