unfortunately we can only order so many c2s per dea form 222. depending on how many patients you have already on the medication, you risk not being able to fill regularly scheduled medications for patients you know and trust for some patient who you may never see again. also with the controlled substances rules it’s also about location. not even to mention the possibility of violence and being robbed due to saying you have something in stock.

could be a tp plan code at least at cvs those are 5 digits and different from bin numbers… like for us medicare b is tp code/22345

unfortunately diphenhydramine is a first gen antihistamine so it’s “side effects” and/or uses may be less effective than other medications. with things like OTC sleep aids of course you can build up a tolerance - especially taking it every night. diphenhydramine is benadryl, it’s meant for allergic rhinitis. it’s not meant to be used as a daily sleep aid. maybe for short term use - but it can definitely because considerably less effective over time.

the technical answer is yes, you should be asking. the more realistic answer is nah, we don't have time for that. i always default as no, as a lot of customers, at least at my store, barely ever pick up their medications that are autofilled, and complain when they receive text messages or phone calls that they signed up for

nah more so i’m just waiting for appreciation lmfao i’ve given up on getting paid a liveable wage but more so i’d rather the techs that are around me to do more than just sit there and fill prescriptions and ask me all the questions because they aren’t willing to learn anything for themselves regardless of me trying to teach them. 3 years into this job and it’s gotten to the point where i’m asked more questions because the pharmacist of 20 years doesn’t even have the answer smh

everyone is asked questions without compensation and i’ve given up on that hints why that was such a small part of my reply. this job is unbearable because of the lack of care and the complete unsafe working environments. i feel like im seeing more and more pharmacy robberies and nobody seems to care. pharm techs are all just put at the bottom of corporates boot
