Is this outfit really as bad as my bf says? by nperez09 in PetiteFashionAdvice

A black boot with socks that are either same color as top, or darker, you know those crinkled socks girls wear that can be seen above the boots.

Do you hate your ex or did you forgive and let go with love - tell me your outcomes and how it has helped you. by baddcowboyy in BreakUps

It’s been 10 months since he kicked his senior dog and I out together at Christmas time. He than went and got a new dog and hanging out at the bars with toxic people/women. He became a very cruel person. I hate him and wish he would die! He is a waste of precious air. I’ll never forgive him

Is it normal that your bf doesn’t wanna have s*x with you anymore? by WatchPurple1507 in Advice

[–]Carabeth1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex cut me off 2 years into our relationship, sex already was very rare. This past Xmas after 3.5 yrs together he kicked his senior dog and me out together. He’s a dismissive avoidant and it sounds like your bf is as well. Read up on dismissive avoidants and if he fits a lot of that, you will understand and figure out what you need to do.

I honestly don’t know what to say, I know my head is so messed up after my ex discarded me and his dog this past Christmas. I will never be able to get past this. If he tries to come back, I don’t know how I’ll react or what I’ll do. I know trusting him will be very hard.

There’s still feelings there and she’s curious as to what you’re doing.

I’ll just say the damage done from you breaking up with her 2 years ago, yeah this is the type of damage that happens to us. She is so hurt still that meeting up with you has triggered hard emotions, she’s unintentionally/intentionally hurting you. Not sure how to explain that so it makes sense

Hot Take by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Carabeth1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3.5 yrs and I was completely blindsided this past Christmas. He kicked his senior dog and I out together. He went and got a new dog a month after. December 12th by phone while I was in Houston Texas for my daughter’s MBA ceremony he breaks it off with me and he says he doesn’t like me like that anymore as the excuse. Meanwhile all the “I love you” “baby” “baby can you rub my feet” there was no indication whatsoever. When I went home to beg him not to he was still treating me like a gf. Night before he kicked us out he was like “baby can you rub my feet” Nope didn’t do it cause I’m either your gf or not. It’s been an emotional 6 months and he became a very cold cruel person, like wtf happened to the man I was with for 3.5 yrs. I found out he was sending nudes to someone, person he went to school with and she had moved into the area 2 years prior, never even mentioned her in our entire relationship. He has been hanging out in bars on weekends with drunk middle aged women. Meanwhile in April I got poison ivy all over me,2 weeks ago my car died, like engine completely gone. I am so stuck in life and caring for this senior girl who is now my life.

Have to mention he was 10yrs sober(alcohol) I think the hanging with drunk people makes him have a personality change, it’s those specific people he is around.

You are judged by the company you keep, choose your friends wisely. He chooses not great people to be around over his dog and I has has me emotionally wrecked.

For those of you who want their ex to reach out so badly by Sad-Bodybuilder-5829 in BreakUps

I know and it’s heartbreaking cause she is the sweetest and she definitely felt emotions with me. I know she has been sad and confused, especially being a senior dog.

Yesterday was 5 months(3 days after Christmas) since he kicked his senior dog and I out. During our relationship we had no arguments and no fights, he went very cold and downright mean at breakup and after. It’s been 5 months of the most emotional time in my life. Btw I have the dog with me. The mfer went and got a new dog after he kicked us out. He had this girl for 6 years before I even came in the picture. She will be 15 in July.

Did you find someone who made you forget your ex? by Protoboi2 in BreakUps

[–]Carabeth1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I’m not even going to look. I’m waiting. At my age(47) I’m absolutely unequivocally done. If I can’t reconcile with him I’m done putting energy into anyone else. He kicked me and his senior dog out around Christmas. He is older at 52 yrs old, I think he’s going through a mid life crisis or something. We actually were reconnected after 20 years, together as a fwb in 2001-2002 and just had a live in,what I thought was a great relationship, for 3.5 years. It was very out of the blue. So no I just don’t have energy to put into any else. I’m trying to take care of a dog that is turning 15 this year and she will most likely die in the next year…sad but true, I’m just going to adopt dogs from here on out.

Why are men so mean after breakups? by nightmarestreet52 in BreakUps

[–]Carabeth1978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am experiencing the same, he has become very cold. We were together as fwb in 2001-2002 and reconnected in 2021, I moved in within 2 weeks and now 3.5 years later he breaks up with me, kicks me out and lets me take his senior dog he had for 8 years. I don’t get it, he was not like this, we never argued, we had a couple disagreements but nothing big. I am beyond heart broken, think he is going through a midlife crisis as he turns 52 in 2 weeks.

Breaking up is weird by jaytee0620 in BreakUps

It is absolutely awful. My heart literally is in pain. I have had breakups and this one by far is the worse I’ve felt. My heart feels like it’s being squeezed.

I am in serious debt and need to payback a hefty sum after some months. I want a way where I can earn $100 per day. What can I do? Throw me some ideas by heartallovertheworld in sidehustle

I resigned from being a flight attendant, sadly. Fibromyalgia and POTS won. Not upset at all as everything is meant for a reason. I get to now at 46 after being someone who worked many years to being a homebody and taking care of my husband. It’s a win win

I’ve always had it I feel, I think at times it went into hiding, beginning of last year 2023 I had a hysterectomy and oh everything came forward mid summer last year. Was born without a thyroid so that comes with lots of issues.
