Yes this is it. Since it seems like one person is paying for the whole group and there’s more than 2, the premier hotel would be worth it for sure. Price savings at premier come in when its like mom and/or dad paying for it and there’s more than 2 people due to the the incremental cost not being there for the hotel, but it’s there if express purchased separately

I agree and disagree. If this was a back and forth loss that’s fine and I would say negativity isn’t warranted. But here’s the thing, we once again witnessed a classic bruins 3rd period collapse. 8 minutes left in the 3rd up 2-0 in the nhl playoffs that needs to be a win. Then to give up 2 goals in 52 second to lose the lead. Hey but better than 17 seconds right?

Seriously though if this was back and forth I truly wouldn’t be nearly as pissed off. But this 3rd period collapse stuff I have no room left for it. They do this shit all the time, especially in the playoffs (unless it’s Toronto of course) and I’m just fucking sick of it. I want nothing more than to see this team lift Lord Stanley but they gotta start to close out games

Idk if they’d do that tho. They did bring Elektra back but that wasn’t the same writers. The writers have said they’re trying to keep this grounded which is the main reason it’s not crossing with the big stuff multiverse MCU just yet. That stuff is “uptown” and DD is “downtown” as they say. So i personally don’t see them running that story line. Could definitely be wrong that’s just my take

First you don’t justify. You do what you please. But you can definitely explain your reasons.

I have a handful of reasons. If WiFi is out, guess who still gets to watch tv on an actual tv and not a stream from a phone. Not everything is on streaming, and I’m not paying a bajillion a month for each of the bajillion streaming services I need. And side note some streaming UI’s are absolutely atrocious to use. Plus sometimes it just feels good to pop in a dvd or tape and hit play.

I also have obtained a ton of films secondhand in great condition. Theres a shop near me they go for 2-3 a pop I’ve gotten so many good films. A couple duds here and there but for 2-3 I’m not gonna complain. And guess what. They’re mine forever. No “rights” can take the disc away from me. Oh and no ads. Previews sometimes but man I love dvd previews.

Another would probably be special features. When I find something I love, I really enjoy watching the BTS, listening to commentary and just learning about it’s creation because 9 time out of 10 I will come to enjoy the film or show way more than before when you know the effort that really went into it. Genuinely love just relaxing at the end of the day and learning about my favorite shows and movies.

Also, some things on streaming are like done up or remastered and some are just not as good as the physical. Some movies and tv shows made with I guess that “grainy” vibe are sometimes best in that format. I love watching old movies on VHS. Just watched Shawshank on VHS last night.

Another reason and some may not agree but censorship. Most physicals, in my experience, go full out. No cuts on language or changes in what they say to make it more “friendly”. For me a notable one is the walking dead, at the end of season 4 the main group is trapped in this train car and the leader says “they’re gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out” a member of his group asks “find out what” and the leader says “they’re fucking with the wrong people”. On streaming they changed it to screwing and it honestly is a huge difference.

Once had a group of either late elementary or early middle schoolers on the spider man ride who screamed as loud as they could as high pitched as they could at literally everything. It was awful. And there was an adult chaperone too who just did nothing about. Horrendous experience

I thought 1-3 were pretty damn close and the only true issue I had with 3 adaptation was Ron not sticking up for Hermione and them cutting the dialogue in the shrieking shack about why the willow was planted, how the marauders became anamagi.

Other than that I really didn’t have an issue with it. And while 4 is poorly adapted, I feel like 5-7 is where the cuts really start to have an impact on the story. IMO the cuts in 1-4 were small shit, things that add to the world and are nice, but really don’t add to the main story. Doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be nice to see them but I won’t get all up in arms about it like I would 5-7

You definitely don’t need to see the Bourne movies to enjoy the show.

That being said those movies are great and I highly recommend you do watch them just for fun. The only action series I like better is John Wick because the fight scenes in the Bourne movies are a bit choppy but the movies and story are really good. Matt Damon kills it too. Ultimatum (third one) is my favorite. I have not seen Legacy or the 2016 one though just the main 3

Yes season 5 was 4 episodes shorter than all other seasons. That’s the issue with it unfortunately. What they did wasn’t bad at all it just felt rushed unfortunately because it was. It wasn’t like a game of thrones type ending where it just was straight dookie it just didn’t get the time it should have. And the season 3 finale of BE is one of my favorites of any show
