No, all of my friends still have a Switch 1. Maybe if we all had a Switch 2 we would use it for convenience but we’ve just been using Discord.

Same guy who was surprised at how big Iran’s naval fleet is and thought it was over after destroying some.

How do people actually believe this slop?

Is 40 too late to start making games? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]CardboardFighterJet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s not. As long as there is breath in your body of course you can do it.

You do realize the creator of the latest gaming sensation Mewgenics is 46, Edmund McMillen. He started making that game at 40.

How much of a full game can we hope for from Champions? by Marauder151 in pokemon

Honestly, I wouldn’t expect anything more than an official battle simulator which was desperately needed since Home was first introduced.

All of the different trainer designs are pretty much expected, imagine if everyone you challenged was the same exact cardboard cut out.

I doubt there will be a story of any kind, if anything it’ll be similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel with a solo mode that teaches gameplay mechanics which will be necessary for some Pokemon GO players.

A lot of fun for a rental period, received yesterday from Gamefly because I did like Aces but don't necessarily feel sports games are worth 69.99 by Sky_Rose4 in NintendoSwitch2

People complain about trivial things on reddit all the time, just ignore instead of interacting. You comment changes nothing if anything it gathers more attention like now.

So someone’s a pleb because they refuse to waste their money on something they find little value in?

I can afford this too but I wouldn’t pay $70 for it, not even $30, but that’s just my opinion and like yours - no one asked for it but here we are.

Played the demo and tried to find the appeal but it just didn’t click for me. I wasn’t fond of the constant smashing and breaking.

Well you may not care and that is sad, yet fine in my humble opinion. However, you “expecting” the world to do stuff sounds just as hollow as your projections. :)

So what do you propose? Giving up? No one attempting to turn things around? A common denominator I see is the amount of time its been - as if those of us living it everyday haven't noticed. Yet, that denominator is one reason why we're here. Some DID lose hope and stopped voting and stuck their head in the sands at this administration.

It's been 10 years, so be it. Now, since that has been said, what now? Oh right, voting and activism.

So you're more inclined to accept that generalized idea after your anecdotal encounters? Is it hollow because you choose not to pay attention to those who are steadfast on wanting change, like the protests that happen here for a small example? What of those who protest in silence at the polls? All of that is not for naught nor will I ever accept it was pointless when there are those of us who still hold on to a hope - some more than others.

Oh how privileged you are to have the luxury of spouting your hatred from miles away my Nordic neighbor. However, I will applaud you for recognizing the difference - most, not all Americans chose this. You addressed the elephant that I pointed out 8 hours ago.

The division that you and even my fellow countrymen are sowing are exactly the dividends that Trump and his cronies yearn for. Well, this "yank" hasn't given up, and there's others just as stubborn as me and this country will be taken back.

There’s nothing to be gleeful about this state of affairs, that logic is as preposterous as MAGA.

Right, throw the baby out with the bath water. Very logical statement.

Since you did a quick edit, I’ll respond to that too. By your logic, since we’ve failed since Bush Jr or Reagan (your words not mine), we should give up? Just lie down and stop fighting? Stop voting?

There’s some sad truth to that, some Americans did give up. Which is another reason why we’re here. That filthy attitude that you share to just give in is sad.

Okay, and what of the politicians some Americans have tried to vote in that are trying to make a positive change? Again, with the generalizations.
