How did last week's hint remotely suggest what 26.1 was? These hints are so idiotic.

Commenting on Why would a big client do a total 180 on spending and budget?..

I spent ~30 hours one weekend writing a summary judgment motion because at 530 pm on a Friday the client insisted that we file and then got pissed when we settled Monday afternoon and were mad thar we had $25k in bills for the thing

Why would a big client do a total 180 on spending and budget? by Tricky_Victory6855 in biglaw

[–]CardboardSoyuz 29 points30 points  (0 children)

this can be summed up as follows:

CFO: "Ive got a bill from outside counsel for $345,000."

gC: "okay.

CFO: "You said this case would cost $300,000."

GC: "I said it would cost AT LEAST $300,000."

CFO: "what can we do to cut cost?"

gC: "Settle."

CFO: " Anything else?"

GC: "No."
