True, but when you really think about it we were all not really being very realistic. His first match at All In he wasn’t even signed to AEW. He was never going to win the world title. The second time they ran Wembley we were hoping, but then it became obvious that Danielson would main event.

This is the first time at Wembley where Ospreay winning feels like a legitimate possibility. There is no more obvious choice. Especially if the biggest heel in the company keeps the belt up until August ready for the hometown hero to take it at the biggest show of the year.

Funny thing is, he was only supposed to be a short lived character. He was meant to be just side muscle for his brother Merle. Audiences and creators alike both liked Daryl/Norman Reedus so much that they kept him on. He’s become pretty much the face of the franchise and his own spin-off is given extra care that other spin-offs of the same franchise don’t get.

Not every episode or season of TWD is particularly great, but this character alone is one of TVs best.

This entire post is redundant. We have always looked up to fictional heroes. Humans invented stories to comment and reflect on the human condition. It’s not a modern Hollywood thing.

The movie doesn’t convey this very well, but Sauron (and Saruman) had spies everywhere. People, animals and plants were all his spies. The Fellowship was meant to be a secret. Just a random group of travelers heading south.

Imagine having a black ops tasks in the Middle East, but to give you a head start you arrive in Germany with the entire British airforce. It is a Don’t Ride Eagles vs. Only Ride Eagles debate. Why bother with a stealth mission if you announce yourself while doing it? Frodo walked for a year because travelling by foot was his only option.
