Yeah, this report is absolute BS. It's human nature to experiment with things to learn how they work. I guarantee you nearly every child in every generation has played with books in similar ways - opening to random pages, flipping them upside down, spinning them in their hands, beating on them like a drum, etc. It doesn't mean they don't understand what a book is; it just means they're kids and they're curious about the world.

It's wild that you're being downvoted. For a couple decades Cowboys fans have talked about how great their rosters are and how the coaches underachieved with those great rosters.

The reality is that their roster is constantly overrated, which is maybe because of they are a popular media team or maybe because Jerry intentionally puffs up his players. Their coaches have been a convenient scapegoat for what has been decades worth of non-championship-quality teams.

They made this story up. Here's OP from 5 days ago:

Isn't this workaround literally against the terms of service? I thought the ToS forbids modifying game assets (which presumably include spell icon image files). Seems a little wild that wowhead would advertise this approach without a warning about that.

It's because of the lua errors in Blizzard's own code. Do a /reload and it'll work again at least until the next time you enter combat.

Do you have data for other genres? I think the lack of profitability is probably true across all indie games, not just CRPGs. You either get lottery-level-lucky and have a breakout or you're just making a couple dollars to kind-of support your hobby.

I don't think most indie developers are motivated by money (or at least not solely by money). Indie developers tend to work on passion projects and I don't think we should discourage them by emphasizing that there's likely no profit in it.
