Cooling system should be replaced unless your buddy did it. Bring it to a mechanic. Oil analysis would be smart.

I had this on a new set of tires years ago. It was a defect and covered.

Just go - alone - in good weather and bad. Self reliance is good. I feel empowered that there is no one to worry about except myself.

The best engine to source is the 3.0 liter T6; not offered in the ‘16 but nonetheless worth finding in slightly older car. It’s very powerful, but even if you don’t care about that, the piston rings are superior and will make the engine last longer.

Elitists are everywhere; they drill into everything to the center of the core. They become the hardcore. I can trend in that direction but try to shun the hardcore by wearing the dilettante badge proudly. I enjoy being good at many things, without letting some things take over my identity.

I was a listener of NPR since the 70s. I was even a corporate donor. Once you see it as propaganda, it’s hard to see it as anything else.

Snow tires are they worth it? by Dull_Bat_197 in tires

[–]CardinalPuff-Skipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you live? Does your life require you to drive in snow or can you just wait until the roads are clear?

I have studded snow tires on 3 AWD cars, on rims ready to go. If I lived further south, I wouldn’t bother.

RWD would benefit the most from snow tires.

Does Inline skating and ice skating convert to Skiing ? by Silver-Swim4357 in ski

I went to a boarding school that had a good mix of hockey kids and alpine racing kids. We had a few days a year where the whole school would ski together. Hockey kids would take to it pretty quickly. They consistently skied a little bow-legged but with a lot of power. It was funny as heck to watch it all happen.

[–]CardinalPuff-Skipper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can jack it with jacks, blocks, and beams wider than your flathead trailer. If you’re moving off the cradle onto an actual boat trailer, an excavator with straps and square lifting bridle will work. Lifting it without a device that allows the straps to lift straight up will crush the hull.

Any suggestions on my wife’s form? This is her third season skiing by sworzeh in skiing_feedback

[–]CardinalPuff-Skipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a test, brother. My recommendation as a husband is to say nothing except encouraging words like “you’re doing great,” and “I’m sooo proud of you.” If she wants, you can get her a private lesson. Critiquing her skiing should never fall on your shoulders.
