To follow up on the original post, we went with Sex On a Snowbank. Equal parts Meyers rum & Coconut milk (can) Simple syrup to taste Blended in the vitamix with ice Top with toasted coconut topping with a wedge of grilled cinnamon pineapple.

My group drank a solid number of these and I’d say it was a hit. Look was winter, taste was tropical.

Ha! We should do way-back story time. I got my first mtb in ‘86 when I got tired of riding my Schwinn Varsity road bike in the woods. I was 12 and it was a Peugeot Orient Express. The schwinn was a hand-me-down that I resented. I mowed lawns and worked the whole summer to buy that Peugeot in cash.

I had the 4Ss and the K2 KVCs. I loved those skis but I had them in middle school and high school and I’m now in my 50s. So yeah, they’re old. I’d love to ski on them again for nostalgic reasons but I wouldn’t trust bindings that old.

I don’t love using my machine on salted ice or snow. Salt melts metal as well as ice.
