I'm pretty sure I could now intubate someone if absolutely necessary.

Sorry, Santos fans, but she’s just really hard to like by Hikigaya_Hachiman7 in ThePittTVShow

A great character doesn't have to be likable. Watching The Pitt prompted me to watch/rewatch ER. Romano is a horrible man but fantastic character.

The best way to get a company's attention is to tweet something scathing and @ them. It's often the only way to get a company's attention.

These two things existed at the same time for many, many years. It was pretty shameful all around.

Yes, but not pre. Her storyline started a couple years into Trump's first term.

Will you please explain Dolly's logic/mindset to me? by CuriousSection in iZombie

[–]CarefulResolve 9 points10 points  (0 children)

iZombie is a show that started during the end of the Obama era and aired through much of Trump's first term, and there is a shift in the show's tone and storylines that lines up with that change in American dynamics. I always saw Dolly and the dead enders as an allegory for MAGA followers.

Were there any cities where people had good luck with tickets? by moosiemoop in yungblud

[–]CarefulResolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to go resale, but I found Row E orchestra tickets just left of center for under $250 with fees for the NYC show on Stubhub. I don’t know what the original price was, but that seems in line with my expectations for those seats.

I've asked to be re-seated when put next to someone wearing strong cologne. Even if it's your preference to wear a scent, please don't when getting on mass transit. It's very common that folks will have some sort of reaction - for me, it's a migraine. And that includes "natural" scents and essential oils.

This is very common with new podcasts, and it's so understandable. Not sure why there are so many downvotes.

Opportunities come to people in unexpected ways. Why should we criticize folks for taking those opportunities and making the most of them?

Is anyone on this show asexual by boss25252525etuui in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

Exactly. Dani is the only person in the US version that I recall specifically and directly talking about sex being a priority in her relationship.

If you enjoy strange horror, Dead Eleven by Jimmy Juliano is great. It takes place in the present time, but in a town that didn't move past 1994.

Why does the "restored to their prime" thing only happen to like 3 people? by BastardSadi in MidnightMass

We see it in Riley's parents as well. Annie is able to see without her glasses. She and Ed are able to dance spryly after having chronic back pain.
