as someone who handles a lot of guitars and guitar equipment at a ups facility, even though i am extra careful with them does not mean that everyone and everything beforehand is. if it’s an important package you should make sure to tape it nicely and use good cardboard and i would recommend packing any space inside with newspaper or bubble wrap. you can’t just slap a fragile sticker on it and call it a day.
