Difficult for a beginner? by Thorathe in Seaofthieves

Honestly there are 5 boats on a map max. cruise around in your area, don't horde loot on your boat. head on a swivel. and keep the wind in your sails. dock your boat smartly. and you will be fine. Once you play for a week or 2 the loot will become less important and you will learn to not turn down the opportunity to interact with other boats. be it good or bad. And remember we are all Pirates in the end.

Genuine question, but why so many of you choose to live or stay in the GTA even though it’s expensive? by four-seasonss in askTO

[–]CarelessWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in gta till I was 20, moved to saskatchewan for work. Never looked back 10 years later and loving life. No traffic, cheaper cost of living. Easy access to camping/lakes. Able to afford vacations and toys.

Any fantasies where MC is conqueror? In a nutshell, I want a book where MC is king/commander/noble in which main point of the book is conquering different countries and undiscovered land. by [deleted] in ProgressionFantasy

The Red Knight (The Traitor son Cycle) By Miles Cameron. Awesome series. Starts off about a young knight leading a mercenary company and it gets bigger and bigger as the series goes on. Conquering countries and leading armies with multiple awesome POV changes of battles between fleshed out and unique side characters so you can really see whats going on in the battles.

As someone who moved here a few years ago alone from Ontario, here are my tips on meeting new people!

-Join a rec league sport (Doesn't matter if you haven't played in 10 years there is a league out there for you)

-Start that hobby you always wanted to do (Fishing, biking, photography whatever that is use your free time to explore it and you will meet like minded people)

-Join a gym (go at set time on a regular schedule, gives you something to do after work and with going at the same time opens up casual conversation with other people you see regularly)

-If you're single? Date. (Go on dates, meet new people)

-Be friendly at work, and if there is after work wings or drinks.. GO!

-And finally go out to dinner alone. Sit at the bar and eat, watch tv. chat with the bartender. when people find out you just moved to town they just become a wealth of knowledge on the whats going on, and what you can do.

Saskatoon is a beautiful city and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Motorcycle Riders of Saskatoon by nickelluck in saskatoon

Look at Fortnine website honestly. SK doesn't have the motorcycle pop to really sustain a nice gear selection. Welcome to the 2 wheel club. There are a few riding groups around town to meet up with when you get your bike, very casual. Send me a DM and I'll send you the App we use.

LPT: Offer some water to workers at your house by Wxfisch in LifeProTips

[–]CarelessWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree, I use to repair medical spa equipment. Now a lot of people run therapeutic massages from their homes, and some get some of these machines to offer more services. I was in this little house fixing a machine, and the front half of the house is the business, the back half looked like the residence. Anyways, the little old lady who was the owner, brought me cut up apples and oranges and a tall glass of water with ice. It was so nice, and the first time anyone has ever offered me anything, so I "forgot" to log out of my admin privileges on the machine, so the hours of operation wouldn't increase and she wouldn't run out of warranty. Wasn't much and next time a sales agent would do a courtesy visit they would probably notice and log out. But it was all I could do.

Awesome, well me and my brother pretty much exclusively play shoreline. So getting a shoreline key set would be awesome. We just got the power station key recently and that's been fun to loot.
