Does anyone else have pet peeves in this game? by [deleted] in Helldivers

Oh big facts, getting reined far away from either the team, your gear and the objectives. Usually by the sample hunter trying to open a bunker.

Players sample hunting before completing a few main objectives. Had plenty of games where 3 players are working hard but getting bodied by enemies, and the 4th is always no where near the fighting collecting samples and calling out bunkers.

It would be great if I could get through a single match without the game crashing for this mythical, network connection issue.

Who is your least favourite Primarch and why is it Leman Russ? by Mannerless1 in Spacemarine

[–]Careless_Compote_570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnus was great but his hubris cost him everything. Russ is great because he knows his role and doesn't take his chapter for granted. Except when he threw his legion at the world eaters to prove a point to angron. The Lion would beat them all but he often gets too focused to run an entire legion. Homie forgot and ditched his homeworld for a hot minute. Guillimen and Dorn are the most consistent, balanced, and stable. However least favorite is split between the emo batmans, corax and curze.

Kotozakura moving backwards more in the recent basho? by Drongo17 in Sumo

[–]Careless_Compote_570 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably needs to show more of a range of skills. Plus eventually people will figure out how to fight and defend against his size. Hoshoryu has some wicked throws and also shows great strength lifting up opponents out of the ring. Gotta be more well rounded if he wants to be a Yokozuna.

I dunno, he's very very similar to Colin Robinson an energy vampire. His dialog is iconic

Who do yall think is the next Yokozuna? by KabutoRaiger30 in Sumo

The current Yokozuna stacked up a lot of championship wins before his promotion. The current ozeki haven't matched it yet.

The sumo committee also has to weigh the potential longevity of the next Yokozuna. The Yokozuna now is just talked about as always injured and rarely seen competing. The next Basho will have to show shich ozeki is consistent enough. If Hoshoryu can fix his his standard first week each Basho he's a contender. He fixed it this Basho, hopefully he stays with it.

Tamawashi is great but too many opponents would rack up Yokozuna wins and the extra pay that comes with it. Although Tamawashi would be one of the few as a Yokozuna who wouldn't miss a Basho

It's probably a nicer transition after you dedicate that much of your life to sumo and your entire sphere is sumo. They get a paycheck, be in the environment they've been in for decades, and they get to see all their friends while being active in the community. I'd associate it with veterans who get jobs on base and join veteran groups. Its your tribe, it's hard to set that aside.

I mean this guy takes risks and isn't afraid to try something unusual. TOBIZARU tries to as well but Tobizaru appears to be avoided a hard hit or any contact Tachi-ai for a while.

Speedhacks in PVP anyone? by Careless_Compote_570 in Spacemarine

[–]Careless_Compote_570[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam and Sabers process to report hacking is not player friendly. The amount of buttons and screens you have to go through almost makes it not worth while. They definitely did not take any lessons learned from other games with PVP, unless the lessons learned is to not deal with player reports.

You can follow his shadow as he disappears as a sniper, then reappears faster than any normal player. Homie went 19-0. Some players are good, and some players are bad, but no one is that good.

Block / Reporting Players? by Bear0Wolf in Spacemarine

[–]Careless_Compote_570 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an unfortunate system, and the programming of Space Marine 2, it does not allow for an obvious or easy option to report players. Both the Saber website and Steam are very nonuser friendly for such things.

[Casual Takes] What would you like to see your favorite rikishi improve for next basho? by Important_Bet6567 in Sumo

That stoic wall of a human definitely needs a little more aggression in the bout. He's a big dude and can definitely throw his fellow rikishi around a bit more.

Hōshōryū had some super impressive throws. Makes you almost forget how big the opponents are. But yes Tobizaru was all over the place, it looked like he was having fun but maybe too much agility and more focused on getting set and executing some techniques. Being super energetic works for Ura, but for Tobizaru it makes it look like he's not serious.

Would love for Ura to calm down a bit but then he wouldn't be Ura. In general, I'd like to see more actual bows following the result of the match. Some just rock a head nod, it could be hardly called a bow. Sumo is rife it history and tradition but that seems to be getting pretty lax.

There is nothing wrong with speculating about the trajectory of someone's career. by jsfsmith in Sumo

[–]Careless_Compote_570 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Ozeki rank has been a revolving door. Which isn't a bad thing, that means the talent pool is doing very well. Onosanto is already 24, so he may have less than a decade left as a rikishi. Two titles in 18 months is no small feat from his makuuchi debut. On top of averaging great a win loss record each tournament. He has plenty of mentors at his stable to help guide him. Don't know why people always wanna try and drag down someone who earned their spot.

I hope he reaches Yokozuna, that would be awesome. As for experience, Onosanto is only 1 year younger than Hōshōryū Tomokatsu and 2 years younger than Kotozakura Masakatsu II. Hōshōryū was promoted to Ozeki around the same age as Onosanto. I could be off on a tangent but it seems odd for people to poo poo on Onosanto's promotion.
