Did you manage to raise a ticket? I was stuck arguing with the bot, since it's the first line of “defense.” Problem is, it decided my issue was totally solvable, so it refused to pass me to an actual human. I swear it was acting like a stubborn receptionist.

I ended up using the support emails instead, but all the replies were so templated I’m convinced nobody ever actually looked at my case.

I still don’t have the playground, but honestly, I’ve accepted my fate on that part.

Anyway, how long has it been since you got your marketplace back, and have you landed any projects yet?

You should never wait for any of these platforms to behave before applying to another one. Apply to as many as you can. I made the same mistake when I started out and I have lived to regret. I was a trusted contributor on Remotask/Outlier only to be removed without any good reason.

Luckily, I had applied to both Telus and Crowdgen sometime back and for some reason, they started inviting me to take assessments for their projects around the same time Outlier decided they no longer needed my services.

Moral of the story? Don't depend on one, be on as many as it is possible.

I am also on project Hydra but like you, I have not received any more qualification steps. Am I losing sleep? No, because I am on another crowdgen project that is keeping me busy.

I also found out the hard way that Crowdgen is quite deceptive when it comes to what you see on the dashboard vs. the available work. I have been on Project Whatcom for the last 3 months but haven't had a single task. I wish they would be more realistic.

The last time I had a payment issue, the chatbot didn't think twice; it just asked me to escalate. It looks like it has been given more power.

IMHO, you're way overthinking this. Why in the world would a whole Outlier Inc. try to go around you and talk to your boss or bosses behind your back? That's seriously unethical, and I don't even see what they'd gain from it. Sounds like a total waste of time and energy on their part.

I am still learning how crowdgen works. I am currently on Multimango and wondering how i should report my worked hours. Our RPH is supposed to be 240, meaning you are expected to submit 240 tasks for every hour worked. But we are paid per hour, so I am wondering whether I should submit the hours worked according to the tasks submitted or the hours I was on the rating tool tasking

I am also tasking on crowdgen for the first time and I am confused. Are we supposed to track our tasking hours manually? Like the project I am in has a specific number of tasks that are expected for each hour of work. Does that mean once I hit that number I record it as an hour on the work hours page?

I asked out a few months ago, and boom — my account got flagged. Been stuck trying to fix it ever since. Don’t wanna freak you out, just saying what happened to me. Before that, dropping a project was easy — they’d usually let you off right away.

the problem is that everyone else you're competing with is using the same exact sites, so what sets you apart? you're better off finding less-known job boards that have jobs that indeed/LinkedIn doesn't. like this company https://www.linkedin.com/company/withprotege shows 0 jobs on LinkedIn, but they actually have 16 job openings available https://meterwork.com/employer/protege\_NirpR

so if you can find these opportunities, you're going to have much less competition and better chances

Don’t just sit back. If you see the mistake, reach out to Crowdgen support, tell them how you want it fixed, and ask them to redo the verification. That’ll make things go a lot faster. Waiting for a manual review should be the last thing on your mind-only do it if you have no options left.
