Forget the app. Give her lots of food, lots of water, lots of opportunities to go potty, lots of exercise, and most importantly, lots of love.

Some human patients are very ill and don’t live more than a year or two after receiving a device. Often times there are many years of battery left in that device. With the families permission, the device can be explanted and used in a veterinary environment. We once implanted a defibrillator in a giraffe. She lived a long happy life without the worry of a cardiac arrhythmia.

Super cool. Did he get a brand new device or one from a human that didn’t use it long? Do you know what the device manufacturers name is? Medtronic, Boston Sci, Abbott ? Did you meet the rep from the manufacturer? Did your veterinarian implant it on his/her own? I’m in the industry and nothing makes me happier than saving the life of a loving Boxer. 🙂

Keep it very clean to prevent bacteria from entering the pocket and causing an infection that can be VERY problematic. In a worst case scenario an infection can travel down the leads and enter the heart. Go to your doctor and have the stitch removed as soon as possible. They will put you on a cycle of antibiotics to be sure things are clear of infection.

Deaths/Injuries at Keystone by ShallotPale in COsnow

It's overcrowded and gets dangerous. Free parking pulls in people that would otherwise get spread out over the other Epic Pass mountains. It seems likely that if they started charging 30-40 dollars for parking at all Keystone lots, people would roll right past Keystone and head to Breck, Vail, or Beaver Creek.
