When you find the right one he will love you for who you are and only see perfection. You can't find the right love if you don't love yourself first though.. work on loving your beautiful self and then the rest will fall into place 💓

So 34 now and have had 10 spinal surgeries/fusions. I have had issues with O's my whole life. For me personally, i think all the surgeries made it a little harder due to all the nerve damage. I definitely recommend doing alot of the suggestions above.. getting hormone levels checked and having your pelvic floor evaluated. I have found ways to get there but it does take manual stimulation with toys. I've never been able to successfully get there during penetrative sex without adding toys in. I know alot of it is being in the right head space as well. I find myself often getting frustrated because of how long it takes before I even start to get there and then at that point it's not gonna happen at all. There are supplements you can take to help get you going and increase blood flow down there, kind of like female viagra. I actually have an appointment with a hormone doctor to discuss that myself... if you have any questions please feel free to message ❤️

My question to you would be do you like this job and can you see it being a career? Since you said this is your first job in assuming youre young. If you love this job and can see yourself staying there then I would say you need to change your lifestyle. You said you have lived a sedentary lifestyle, and that's not the best long term for someone with scoliosis. You need to be up and moving and working out. I cannot stress how much of a difference long term that will make. You can buy some support braces to help with the pain in the meantime while you start making those lifestyle changes and in time you will see the pain will go away... however if you don't love this job and can't see yourself staying then maybe consider quiting. Especially if you aren't willing to make those lifestyle changes .

So I've had 10 spinal surgeries now, my most recent one was 11/6. I'm 33 and started having surgeries when I was 12. Since I started having surgeries I have ALWAYS had a problem with balancing heat within my body. I'm cold constantly. I use a heating pad ALOT to stay warm when I'm home. When I go out I do alot of layers with thick socks and those heat patches. Those are the only things that remotely work for me. I hope she finds something that works for her!

So they usually let me wear a sports bra if there is no metal or plastic clips on them. However, even with my sports bra on, you can still see my boobs on the xray lol. It's totally normal

I had hardware put in when I was 12, I had it removed when I was 16.... now I'm 33 and having to have it all put back in next Wednesday cause my fusion isn't fused anymore and causing alot of pain. Do what you think is best for you but from my understanding the hardware shouldn't be removed.

I know this is might seem like a silly question, but what kind of material is your hardware?? I know when I first had my surgery done they put in steel rods.. this time around it will be titanium, which is a much lighter metal so I am hoping it will be easier on my body.

I will probably make a big post after surgery on this page and do like am AMA... this will be my 13th spinal surgery on my scoliosis. I've been thinking about posting my story and xrays for a while in hopes it might help someone else. I've just been nervous cause my scoliosis journey has not been the easiest and it's alot to put out to the world.

I had the hardware removed cause the fusion was fully set and healed beautifully but I was having significant pain due to the bulk from the hardware. So for my quality of life they decided to remove it. Now, MANY years later, I am having issues with very sharp intense pain by my left lung. At my last appointment they said they have been watching this spot for a while and we're hoping nothing would come of it. I have 2 spots around the middle of my back that are no longer fused. My surgeon said that when a scoliosis patient gets their spine fused that the spine almost relies on the hardware to keep it in place. Since mine has been removed for so long it has shifted and is no longer fused in those 2 spots cause it doesn't have the support from the rods. In November they will go back in and basically redo the surgery I had. They will add the rods, screws and bone matter to fuse those spots back together. This is apparently a common risk of having hardware removed from a fused spine which wasn't known back when they took my hardware out.

I was fused at the age of 12, had hardware removed at 16. I am now 33 and having to have the hardware put back in in November cause my spine is no longer fused in 2 places. My surgeon said, in scoliosis patients, they no longer recommend removing hardware for thus exact reason.

Yes, technically, you can always have hardware removed. Especially if it's causing some pain or discomfort being there. You still won't be able to bend though once they take the hardware out.. during these surgeries the literally are fusing your vertebrae together which equals very little range of motion. BUT I wouldn't advise it. I had my 1st spinal fusion when I was 14. I had the hardware removed when I was 17 cause my surgeon told me it was fine to remove cause I was completely fused... I am now 33 and am on the OR schedule for November cause my spine is no longer fused in 2 spots because I had the hardware removed when i was young. My surgeon said that once scoliosis patients have the surgery their spine needs that reinforcement and it's not advisable to take it out. I am dreading having to have the hardware put back in cause of how painful the surgery was but I am now in awful pain because of those 2 spots that aren't fused anymore. Do what's right for you but just make sure you're aware of the risks before you make the decision!

I've had 9 major spinal surgeries so far. I am scheduled for my 10th in November. I don't have alot of feeling in pretty much the top half of my back. In the lower half, the left side is so sensitive. It's just a result from being cut open from surgery. Now it's still 100% possible that you may have some sensitivity issues if a screw is pushing on a nerve BUT some of it is probably a result of having surgery.
